My husband and I spent three nights here recently. Such a wonderful place to stay. Our queen suite with ensuite was spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. Cordell was a friendly host. Would stay here again.

Recent two night stay did not afford us more time to enjoy the common room as we basically were there only to sleep, however, the host made us feel comfortable and we had some nice chats with him. The bed in our room was good and in a spring or summer month we would have loved to sit on our little porch/sunroom with a glass of wine. Cannot comment on the breakfast portion as we were on a time crunch and it was just toast but he graciously gave us some cookies for the road. Suggestion...if the host offers baked goods, take them!

We were in the area to visit with relatives and needed a good place to stay for 2 nights. This place fit the bill. Great heritage house with comfortable quiet room. The Host was very accommodating and even recorded a football game for us so we could watch it when we arrived. Breakfasts were delicious and good conversation from the host. Be aware there are pets in the house, if you have allergies. Make sure of the room you select, some have shared bathrooms.

Our extended family stayed at the Sir Edgar House while attending a family wedding. The location was perfect for us. We were travelling with children who were able to get a great night's rest. The breakfast was lovely and the host is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend staying here if you require accommodation in the Dauphin area!

We enjoyed a perfect 2 night stay during the August long weekend thanks to Cordell and Loralyn’s kind and thoughtful hospitality. It was my 1st extended visit to Dauphin, the town where I was born and lived during my formative years. When booking, the place looked appealing, yet strangely familiar. Turns out it was my 1st school/kindergarten, 65 years ago. The house is very well maintained, clean and is in excellent condition. On Saturday morning after a lovely breakfast (please see pictures), the parade from the National Ukrainian Festival was directly outside the front door. We watched it while sipping warm dark-roast coffee and tasting Loralyn’s homemade blueberry coffee cake. Overall a wonderful experience that brought back memories of youth and that kindergarten class, PS: The class picture, in costume from our performance of Little Red Riding Hood is also attached. Guess who was the Big Bad Wolf ?

I stayed there for 2 weeks on business and it was fantastic! The breakfast was top notch, room and home was very clean, bathroom was cleaned daily and the hosts go above and beyond! I'd rate higher than 5/5 if I could. This was my first experience with a B&B and it truly blew me away! 100% recommended for anyone passing through or staying in Dauphin.

Stay was good from the start to the finish. Our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. He cooked a fantastic breakfast every morning! I would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend for people traveling through. It is located in the residential area so it is quiet, and with a very short walk to grocery stores and the rest of downtown it was very convenient.

I had the pleasure of staying here on the weekend. After a day of hiking around Moon Lake we drove the half hour to Dauphin to spend the night. The owner Cordell met us at the door with a warm welcome and a warmer smile. The B&B is a beautifully maintained Victorian style house and one of the oldest in Dauphin. The main floor has a traditional sitting room and dining room. The decor is warm and inviting. The room was immaculate with the perfect old world charm. The sitting room had a comfy couch and a simple desk. The bedroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was updated with modern shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast started with plain yoghurt, wild blueberries and coffee. Then came fresh waffles and sausages. It was simple and delicious. Cordell joined us as we finished breakfast. We sat and chatted as we sipped on coffee. His warm inviting manner made it feel like chatting with an old friend. It was simply a perfect visit. It honestly felt like I was staying at home, just cleaner lol As the byline said... the only place to stay in Dauphin!
