Our accommodations were everything we required - two bedrooms with excellent comfortable beds, a spacious sitting area with frig and microwave to allow us the opportunity to prepare our breakfast and lunches during a long and difficult week.
The entire staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful, and accommodating to our every request. Laureen truly went the extra mile and beyond to make our stay at the Thunder Hill athe best choice we could have made.
We highly recommend this motel to any visitors to Swan River.

Truly an exceptionally nice hotel in Swan River. The motel in located on the corner of hwy 10, easy to find.
The rooms are renovated and cleaner then your own home.
I loved this little hotel. Very quiet and safe.

The facility isn't particularly large (20 rooms) or modern, but it's comfortable, well kept and the rooms are well furnished. My room was a good size and qualifies as a suite. (It's billed as an all-suite motel.) It had a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker. The TV was a 27" conventional TV, which produced a good picture. There's also a combination DVD/VHS player, and the office has a borrowing library available. Limited continental breakfast is available.

The room is good. The terrible part is that the owner just go inside your room whenever she wanted even if the "Don't Disturb" sign is up.
We felt ver uncomfortable with our stay there.
I got valuables and I don't like being disturb and nosey owner. She creeps, peep by the window then enter even we are inside. Very no no.

But when I got there they were booked and i still got charged. Don't book online for this place. If I could rate 0 I would. I will never consider this place again. Front desk lady was friendly and was able to get me a room in another motel in town but never again. Don't bother booking here.

Walked in to the office to find a very friendly lady ready to help me in anyway I may need. She informed me of the local eateries and offered some welcome advice to the area.

The room was very clean and neat. It came with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker. I did enjoy sitting on the couch to relax and watch the game instead of a bed.

This place gave me the down home feeling of a family run Mom and Pop motel where they take care of every guest like they were family.

Location is not far from any favorite eating spots or watering holes. 12 steps to the Subway.

Stayed here for two single night stays, one in in July 2016 and the other in Aug 2016, on my way up north and coming back. Place is well-appointed, clean, staff are very friendly and helpful, and it had a lot of very helpful touches like a microwave and fridge, window in the back that opens, large screen TV. Location is great, including a Tim Hortons around the corner, and convenience store across the street.

Very nice, well appointed "Family" (non-chain) motel. Spacious (have a large sitting area separated from the "bedroom" area), clean, quiet, and close to whatever you need: Subway in parking lot, A&W nearby, and across the street a very good coffee shop/deli. Breakfast of cereal, milk, juice, bread (toasters in rooms) available in office. Certainly enough to get you going. Good value for sure.

Stayed here for one night when passing through on my way to northern Manitoba.

This motel was very quiet, clean and had a very cozy feel. The bed was decently comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was exceptional.

The lady who greeted me was very friendly and hospitable and gave me a lot of information about the area and areas further north.

The only complaint I would have is the wifi did not work very well in my room ( room 5) I had to go two rooms either way, and stand outside to use the WiFi.

They offered me another room because of the wifi but it wasn't important enough at the time and I was too tired to switch rooms and move everything , so she let me sit in the office to use the WiFi, and even gave me some fresh tomatoes!
