The internet does not work in all the rooms, water was not drinkable but they supplied bottled water. There was an odor that room spray could not cleanse. The room was very clean and they did have a refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed and blankets are aging. The mattress was firm. There was no Kleenex supplied. The bathroom includes... More

Situated in Alma, New Brunswick, the motel is very basic but it does has a kitchette and a view on the bay of Fundy. There was a lot of construction on the bay when we were there so the view wasn't spectacular but it was fine. We only stayed one night prior to heading into the National Park so it... More

As with all the small villages in the Maritimes this is not a Comfort Inn, Super 8 or Holiday Inn. What is is great place to relax and watch the tides of the famous Bay of Fundy. Put away your cellphone and your laptop. Enjoy this comfortable, simple motel in a nice quiet village on the edge of Fundy National... More

We drove here from Florida and really enjoyed ourselves during a 5-night stay. The view is amazing. You can sit on the edge of the property and watch the inexorable ebb and flow of the tide. You can also hike down and out on the flats at low tide. Enough gravel/rocks that you don't sink in muck while walking. We... More

Alma is a small, old village with not a whole lot, and any hotel/motel you choose in the area is going to be simpler and older. You're not going to find hotel chains in these small villages. With that in mind, expectations really need to be adjusted when staying and reviewing these motels. Our stay was neither terrible nor amazing... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Alpine Motor Inn as we explored Fundy National Park. This hotel is in the town of Alma, which is right next to the park. It is also close to a variety of restaurants, most within walking distance. We were in room 15, which was a ground level room on the right hand side as... More

First, this place was NOT in my GPS. which I admit is old, but at least it has Canada maps. And while my GPS is either 7 or 8 years old, this place has been here way longer than that. So, my first problem was doubt about whether we'd even find the place. We set the GPS for an Irving... More

The Alpine is a very good place to use as a base for exploring the area. We had a comfortable second floor room with kitchenette and balcony overlooking the Bay of Fundy. The kitchenette was compact but fully stocked with real dishes, a double cook plate, and adequate pots and pans. The fold out table was a little cramped but... More

Situated directly on the edge of The Bay of Fundy. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and the staff at Alpine Motor Inn were exceptionally friendly, courteous and accommodating. I have to give them the highest rating for their efforts and price range. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Our room was spotless on arrival.... More
