Detailed Reviews
We had the King Deluxe room w/balcony & breakfast, over looking Alma beach! We were pleasantly surprised that the room included a jet bath tub, included up scale complementary large size bathroom toiletries, modern furniture & art, beautiful clean & up scale bathroom & a very comfortable & cozy king bed. We walked the Alma beach (right beside the Inn) during low tide. We enjoyed the seafood Platter in The Tides restaurant in the Inn, huge portions & excellent service. The Inn is within walking distance of the Fundy National Park for hiking or driving through. Our only regret is we only stayed 2 nights!
We would definitely recommend this beautiful Inn AND hope to come back next time we are on our way to Nova Scotia OR visiting New Brunswick.

We stayed one night here on a driving trip. The Inn is quite large, with rooms on the Bay side and the street side. Only street-side rooms were available, and our room was large, a bit dated, with no AC. Unfortunately it was warm during our stay, so we had both windows wide open, and we heard noise from the street and the band across the street until late. Upon arrival we were told not to drink the water or even use it for brushing teeth, and two bottles of water were provided. Apparently this is a perennial problem due to the influx of tourists every summer. Their WiFi did not work for our entire stay, and the staff were unable to repair it. We thought the price was high for the quality of the accommodations and lack of breakfast. Alma was pleasant but overcrowded, so we can't recommend it as a destination. There is a nice bakery down the street that we visited for breakfast, and there is a brew pub farther down that is a nice quiet place to relax.

Overpriced room for the location. The woman checking me in continued her conversation with another person while handing me paperwork to sign, punching in the room charge and turning the credit machine around so I could tap my card! Certainly didn’t make me feel like a welcomed guest!!! At just under $200.00 I would have at least expected a “thank you”! The room was nothing special. We had the deluxe room on the third floor. The balcony was small, barely room to manoeuvre into the two chairs on it in order to enjoy the view. The bay view is just as good from the back lawn! Breakfast was included, your choice of: cereal, toast, egos, sausage and fake scrambled eggs.

What a wonderful find! We are so very glad to have found and spent 2 nights at the Parkland Village Inn. We were warmly welcomed and absolutely LOVED our view from the Bay of Fundy balcony room. Perfect place to see the different levels of the tide.
The room was spotless, very comfy beds and pillows. The continental breakfast in the room overlooking the water included sausages, eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit-
It was perfect!
We had dinner in the Tides restaurant in the hotel, overlooking the fishing wharf. The food and service was winderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the baked scallops and salmon pasta dishes that we had.
If you’re looking for a fancy fancy hotel, then you need to stay in big cities but if you’re looking for a clean, warm, comfortable hotel with incredible views in a small town, then the Parklamd Village Inn is the right place to stay.
The hotel is about 30 minutes to Hopewell Rocks and Cape Enrage, so easy to come back between the low and high tides.
The owners are a lovely couple who take great pride in their hotel. We would come back in a heartbeat!

BEWARE. If you are thinking of reserving a room at this fairly pricey hotel in consideration of the free breakfast they offer, beware! We just returned from there and had a bad experience. The owner/ manager double booked the breakfast room to another event, so he couldn't honor his commitment to all the guests who had booked rooms, for free breakfast. Unfortunately all had to spend more money to eat elsewhere. When I approached the owner about it,his attitude was, " oh well". Bad experience for an otherwise nice weekend in Alma. Woukd not stay or eat in their restaurant again.

Unfortunately, accommodation choices in Alma are very limited and we had to stay as close to Fundy National Park as possible, so we booked one night at the Parkland Village Inn.
Of course there are pros and cons, as with many hotel/inn/B&B stays.
Pros:
1. Proximity to Fundy National Park. No accommodation in Alma is closer.
2. Beautiful views of Alma Fishermen’s Wharf
3. Excellent seafood and fish restaurant on premises, the Tides.
3. Equally excellent lunch take out and ice cream shop on premises with outside tables and lovely views.
4. Very welcoming owner and the young woman at the reception desk, Natalie. We are very grateful to both.
5. Plenty of onsite parking.
Cons:
1. Very dated rooms. They were clean but dark and so unattractive.
2. No A/C, just the ceiling fan
3. The bedspreads are thin and so old... They didn’t look clean to me.
4. We were on the first floor, but I think people who carried their luggage upstairs to the higher floors were not too happy.
5. The shower in the bathroom reminded me prison showers you see in the movies. Terrible!
For one night, it was tolerable but it would have been hard for us to extend our stay. This hotel needs serious upgrades.

...beds were horrible. Three nights with almost no sleep because the mattresses were so hard. We had two queens-one squeaked if you moved at all and the other made a popping noise if you moved. Floor is dangerously uneven-you could easily slip and fall. TV was a joke-it was a 19" monitor at best and only one bedroom had one. Furniture otherwise was basic but fine. It was, however, spotlessly clean, towels were plentiful and there was plenty of hot water. If the mattresses were comfortable this would be basic but good accommodations. Restaurant was not good at all. Fish and chips were greasy. Staff was excellent though, both in the restaurant and the hotel.

We stayed in a King suite for two nights while visiting Fundy. A very clean room with a harbour view. The staff were very welcoming. Greeting us on arrival, each day, and when we left. This will be our go to spot for any Fundy visits. The bed was firm but comfortable, no a/c but our room had a ceiling fan and even in hot weather, this being our second annual stay, a/c was not a necessity. . Very good meals on site as well.

During the “Atlantic Bubble” we ventured to our favourite quick get away place Fundy National Park.
We were able to get a suite on the 3rd floor, harbour side.
First off there’s no elevator and its a hike up stairs.
The room was very comfortable. A bit dated but clean. We had a queen bed with nice linens. A small balcony gave us a beautiful view of the harbour but when the fleet came in at 1am it did get a bit noisy. It wasn’t a problem for us. Bathroom was nice with a jetted tub. A larger bar fridge but no coffee area at this time.
We did eat at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal.
Two weeks later we decided to travel here again to escape the heat in Moncton and had another room on the second floor same layout and view. We enjoyed this room just as much.

We only stayed one night. Our room was clean and spacious. The Owner was very friendly. The only sad part was the breakfast which was not included. We walked around the breakfast buffet and it looked horrible, rubbery looking eggs, scraps remaining so we decided to go elsewhere. Central location to National Parks.

No AC at all.
No sorry we do not
I believe at least within the area. You are very close to the harbour so you could smoke and explore.
A two room suite, king bed in one room, queen in the other. Both rooms have an en suite bathroom. It has a veranda access and a view of the Bay. The rate is $165.00 cad plus tax.
