Charming family-run inn located in the small fishing village of Alma. Located directly across the street from the active Alma fishing harbour, rooms with Bay views overlooking the harbour are available. We offer free wifi throughout the property and free guest parking is available at the back of our building. This property previously run as a B&B, has recently been updated with newly renovated ensuite bathrooms, furnishings, and much more to make your stay with us that much more comfortable. Being such a small accommodations (with only 8 rooms) we strive to bring our guests that "home away from home" feeling while they're staying with us. Our inn also offers a guest television room, great for guests traveling that are more social or are traveling with family members staying in other rooms. While we do not have 24-hour front desk service, there is always someone on our property looking forward to answering any questions our guests may have, as well as give great travelling tips and suggestions. A contact phone number is given to all guests to reach a staff member when no one is at the front desk. All restaurants and shops located in Alma are within a short walking distance of the Captain's inn, along with the Alma beach and Fundy National Park. We have many great restaurants in our small area that will be eager to serve you breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also have a bakeshop, 2 seafood markets, a micro-brewery, a café, and a general store located in the village. The staff at Captain's Inn looks forward to greeting you during your upcoming visit.

We stayed here one night. All was fine. Nothing to get excited about. Our room was in the back, which although quiet, really didn't have a view. Terri was very gracious and more than willing to get us additional towels. Our room was very warm. We turned on the A/C. It was very loud, and seemed to be just a fan. I really liked having the sink area outside the bathroom area. Breakfast was minimal. I don't care for carbs and that eliminated nearly everything. Our bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. There is a nice large parking area at the rear of the building.

We stayed here 1 night with family of 8. It was a last minute booking. The front desk staff was very kind and accommodated us best to her ability. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was simple but good. The eating area was nice with big windows. The inn is located closed to Fundy National Park. They do have a dog living at the Inn. All in all our whole family was happy with our stay.

Help yourself breakfast, cereals, breads, sweets, yogurt, fruit, granola bars etc. Plenty of Choices in a pleasant dining area with hummingbirds out the window. Room is basic but has everything you need including comfortable bed, toiletries, good lighting, ceiling fan, telephone, a/c though we didn't use it, plenty of parking, restaurants close by and very near the Fundy Natl Park. No safe available. Terry is a bundle of energy, is friendly, and pleased to answer your questions. We stayed here only because our room at the Parkland Village Inn was cancelled on us. We were fortunate to be able to stay here.

We were pleasantly surprised to see how the house was so clean and fresh . Being in a tourist area as it is, it was not like the usual motel. In fact, it was less expensive than some of the motels we stayed in, with far nicer accommodations. It was apparent that there has been recent updates ( paint, woodwork, floors) The owner was delightful, cheerful, and welcoming. Our room was attractive, comfortable, with a bright, modern bathroom- and a full bar of soap! We really dislike those "frugal" places that give you one 1 inch bar of soap for bot sink and shower use. Our sink was outside the bath, so convenient for 2 person's use. It has a/c too, which we didn't end up needing. Breakfast, while not fancy or special, was adequate to our morning need. Coffee, fruit, toast, juice,

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights. The owner Terri was very accomodating. Our room #2 was very nice. Apparently Terri renovated the bed & breakfast in the last year or two. Breakfast is make your own in the communal kitchen. This establishment has a dining room and 2 sitting areas but we didn't use them as we were out exploring the area. The beds were very comfortable and we had WiFi. Would definitely recommend this B & B.
