We stayed for only one night and I would have been happy to have stayed there longer. The hotel is within the Arcadian historic village. It's a unique experience. The rooms are plain in comparison to modern hotel rooms but they are clean and very comfortable. It's very quiet which is lovely with no tv and other distractions but they...

This hotel is set up to replicate a hotel from the early 1900s. When entering the room, that is exactly what is looks like, but there are a couple of hidden modern things for your comfort. The room does have a shower, ac/heater, fan, wifi, and electrical outlets. Other than that, the room & bathroom look very authentic. We rented...

What a treat to stay here right in the Acadian village. The hotel is an exact replica of a1990s hotel complete with period dressed staff. Our room was charming and comfortable and the village was ours to explore both before and after the general public arrived and left There is no food available on site which is a problem, however...

Stopped at The Acadien Village last Tuesday, and knowing we were planning on staying in the area for the night, we were very pleased that they had a vacancy. We stayed in room 11 on the second floor and it was so charming. We didn't have a bathroom in our room, but had our own private one, just out our...

Hotel was ok, but not what we were expecting. Nice quiet spot, beautiful scenery. Was disappointed with the amount of staff (one person) and were very disappointed with our breakfast! Our package included "Home made breakfast" But was a very cheap version of "continental". Probably will not be going back again!

After a day on the site of the Acadian Village, we were looking forward to our stay at this hotel, which is on site. An antique Ford automobile came to pick us up at the parking lot, the driver was kind and courteous and offered to take pictures of us in the car. Our room was amazing, we had room...

Staying at the hotel in Acadian Village was a vital part of the total historical package. The village was very interesting and speaking with the interpreters from their point-in-time view was very unique. The hotel was very totally different from any other hotel we've ever stayed in (including the wake-up call from the resident rooster!), but it was clean and...

What an amazing location for our Wedding Anniversary! Located in the Acadian Village, Chateau Albert is a special gem as it is a reproduction of a hotel which stood in Caraquet in the early 1900's. The staircase, railings, floors and woodwork are especially gorgeous! Each room is unique! Claw-foot bathtubs, toilets with tanks (complete with pull cords) located near the...

If you love history then a night (or several) at the Chateau Albert Hotel is a MUST while visiting the Grande Anse & Caraquet area on the Acadian Peninsula. It is located ONSITE at the Acadian Historical Village. - We arrived at the village, parked our car, and began our "package deal" for a musical dinner evening, a continental breakfast,...

From the ride from the parking lot to the hotel in a 1930's Model A Ford to the piano playing in the lobby this hotel surpassed what we thought we'd get. Although we did not have a bathroom in our room it was only a few doors down and only we had the key for it. It had a claw...

“Room 18 is really spacious, with a beautifull view on the street (as the village is closed at night it is very very quiet). We were treated with a beautifull sunset and the light in the morning was beautifull.”

“Ask for a corner room. Since there is no air conditioning, its nice to have a cross-breeze from the two windows.”

“Ask for a corner suite, front facing, with a private bath.. These are large and have lots of windows to enjoy the breeze.. Bring a hat & walking shoes to tour the village. There are ample places to sit and enjoy the scenery and a snack bar along the route. The is also a restaurant within the village appropriately named "The Ancestors Table" which offers period foods; delicious & memorable!! And don't forget to bring your camera!”
