We went the there for some local charm and family time and really enjoyed it. We had called and made arrangements before going. The front desk was fantastic with us. The room #29 was very clean ( spotless) when we got there and really enjoyed the Sea view and other amenities. We didn't bring all the kids just the baby, but we could have all stayed in that room. Next time we might bring all of them or enjoy the Island to ourselves. The Islanders themselves are wonder and kind. It was just what we needed. Thanks so much , we'll Be Back ( Kevin & Nadine)

We stayed here in a housekeeping room that has 2 very comfortable queen beds. Having a kitchenette, dining table and small living room area with tv was excellent. View overlooking the water and an easy access to the beach topped it off. They have gas bbqs available, comfortable lawn chairs outside each room to enjoy the view and the motel is very handy to the ferry. Cleaning staff are long-time employees.....to us, that speaks volumes.

Stay here on Aug 7/8/9 WOW what a great place to stay at.. They have done so many renovations, You can see the boats out on the water, walk the beach and so much more..The staff helped us out lots with where to eat and how to get a boat ride out to see whales. The is a kitchen, living room, just like a little home a way from home. I will be back

We stayed here last weekend. Motel is very well situated at walkimg distance from the ferry terminal. There are nearby restaurants and a pharmacy as well. Water front location offers very nice views and access to the beach. Staff member was very friendly and helpful. Rating it a 4 because rooms were outdated. Beds were very old, super squeeky, shower was dirty/old. The building would be due for a major renovation. Other than these issues, I would recommend for sure.

We were in Room 17 facing the Bay. X-large fridge, microwave, comfortable bed and great hosts. Island travel was easy. While only 1/2 hour drive from top to bottom, you can spend many hours just going in & out of coves. Staff in the office were always helpful and everyone is so knowledgeable about the island. Grand Manan is the perfect place to go if you want relaxation! Loved the Ferry ride!
