The room we were given held two queen beds and a desk. You had about foot or two between those three things and anything else, including the walls. You had to twist sideways to sit on the toilet and the sink was one of those small rectangular ones usually in small restaurant washrooms. The bath was regular sized. In other words, the room was cramped. The housekeeping in that room was chancy—hair in the sink and floor of the bathroom. I cleaned the sink and sanitized it to get something washed, but turned around and realized there was hair on the floor as well. I decided I was not a paying, rather than paid, housemaid, so went to the office to indicate I wanted housekeeping to come in and finish their job. The lovely young lady at the front desk said she would call the manager, who called us back and asked permission to enter the room to see if what I was saying was the case. Upon our return we were offered another, larger room, also cleaner, in the main part of the building across from the main desk. That was fine and we moved our things. About 9 or 10 o’clock someone came to the front desk and there was a loud conversation, perhaps somewhat acrimonious, that continued for about 30 or 40 minutes. No sleep with that outside the door!

We also tried the restaurant, against Tripadvisor’s better judgement. My son’s vegetable lasagne was adequate, he said, but my shrimp dinner was just edible. The shrimp were very overcooked and rubbery, the mashed potatoes real, but lumpy, and the vegetables arrived after half the meal was eaten. The vegetables were mixed frozen vegetables, well microwaved and not at all drained of their water. This is not a restaurant I would ever eat at again.

We chose this place because it was so close to the Hopewell Rocks Park, and it certainly has that going for it. Great location.

This stay was done so I could be close to family in nearby campground so did not spend a lot of time at motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. As COVID-19 restrictions were recently lifted the continental breakfast was delivered to my room each day. It was standard continental with 2 toast, butter, jam, peanut butter, yogurt and a packaged muffin and all I needed. The restaurant and gift shop next door were not open when I was there. The wifi was fine but very few guests when I was there. The room was great as looked like it had been renovated recently, the queen bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. My room was on the top floor with a great view and benches to use to sit on deck. Only other comment is if you are older and have a problem with stair climbing I would not recommend the top floor as lots of steps to get there which was not a problem for me though appreciated the help my family gave me to bring my stuff down to my vehicle. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you want to visit the Hopewell Rocks and not that far from Fundy Park or Moncton.

First off some positives : this is not as bad as some of the other reviews would suggest!
First, it is in a good location, right next to the entrance to Hopewell Rocks, so really convenient if the beach is only open for a short time early in the morning / late evening. There's a great view, and it's only a 40 minute drive to Alma / Fundy National Park, and there was a warm/helpful welcome at reception.
Secondly, although it's close to the main road, it's quiet and comfortable. The room was well equipped with a good TV, large fridge, coffee machine, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the heating was good (still needed this early in the season). There was also a small wooden table and chairs in the room, some plastic seating just outside and some picnic benches in the lawn area.
There is also a small pool and childrens play area (didnt use either so cant vouch for how good or bad they are)
On the less positive side, the bathroom at the back of the room is a bit strange: the shower took some getting used to but once you worked out that turning to cold made it hot and turning to hot made it cold, and managed to balance the temperature it was fine. The location of the toilet on an angle was odd, and it would be useful to have a shelf or something to put your toiletries.
The breakfast room is lovely, with some nice views over the Bay of Fundy, but the breakfast options were limited: toast, cereal, muffins and hard boiled eggs.
I stayed a couple of nights and it was fine : probably wouldn't want to stay longer, and this isn't for anyone expecting modern hotel luxury. It does feel a little dated.

Dated motel but with great charm nonetheless! Motel was 1-2 Km away from Hopewell Rocks and has a beautiful view of the Bay of Fundy. Outside area has benches, chairs and seats to admire the view, relax or have a picnic. Pool is super fun for the kids, pool is surrounded by a fence and is big enough to comfortably swim. Lovely staff, especially David who attended to our every need. He was super helpful and made our stay worthwhile and enjoyable! The motel also has a restaurant that runs a free breakfast buffet daily, many options for an enjoyable breakfast with a view! Additionally, there is a nice gift shop, so you can get all those souvenirs you wanted without having to travel that extra mile ;).

I don't know who wrote good reviews. The motel is very basic. It is maintained as if the owners want to explicitly show that they don't care. Everything in room is outdated. I think it is expensive for the price. If it would be twice cheaper it would be OK.

Awful experience. The only good thing about this place was the close location to the Hopewell Rocks park. This motel is dated, dirty, very acoustic- we could hear conversation, showers, flushing toilets in the adjacent rooms. The restaurant was unpleasant with very poor food. The breakfast was a joke, the hard boiled eggs for breakfast were kept warm for so long that were hard like rock. Coming for a day from Moncton is a much better option.

After many hours of driving we arrived here. We had called ahead to ask when the restaurant closed, the guy said he would keep it open. We arrived, it was closed and so was everything else close by. We went to a gas station and had junk food for dinner! Ok when you are 10! Bed was comfortable. Room is outdated. You can hear everything from other rooms….talking, showers, toilets flushing and when they walked on their floor our floor creaked. Sounded like they were in our room! The people below us had tv or music on- apparently they live there. We talked to the owner and he spoke to them and turned it off/ down. The pool was green….not sure it I’ll open this summer. Breakfast was a choice of muffins from a grocery store, bread, pb, jam, coffee, yogurt, an hard boiled egg, oatmeal and juice.
We did leave a special pillow there and called sometime later and they had it , so we drove back to get it! That was nice ! After some TLC the rooms could be restored to their former glory. The shower was great. Close to Hopewell Rocks so a big plus!

Simple rooms, extremely small toilet with no plugs inside, the cheapest toilet paper ever seen in my life, lack of toilet brush (!!!!!!) , air conditioning too strong or better to shut down, breakfast very poor, location close to hopewell rocks but aside this in the middle of nowhere. Good for the small swimming pool but too little to come back.

Another review called it 'tired'. Not a bad description, but our room was freshly painted, etc, and quite nice, though simple. Restaurant nice, but continental breakfast underwhelmed. Loud footsteps above from normal walking was bad - really this was the only negative, but yeah, it was pretty loud. Suggest asking for a 2nd floor room to resolve. Pool looked crystal clean and nice. Nice and surprisingly large gift shop, if that's of interest.
I DO recommend this place for anyone looking for simple/modest accommodation at a reasonable price just a couple of 100 meters from the road to Hopewell Rocks.

When you are scrolling through the reviews and are unsure to stay or not....don't! I was aware that this motel was rated as a 3 star motel. Ok, I get it...don't expect much. In the back of my mind, I was hoping I could report back to say it was a "diamond in the rough" but I didn't have high expectations. My husband and I stayed one night...I certainly wouldn't have stayed an additional night!
Good points: coloured TV and the air conditioner worked.
Bad points: no view of the ocean, lawn not trimmed, dated porch, key would not work properly in door (needs new doorknob), greeted with loud dehumidifier with some sort of strong fragrance to cover the smell of god knows what!, hard to find light fixtures (arrived at dark), very uncomfortable hard double bed with only 3 pillows, bathroom didn't have a counter to set toiletries on, tap knobs rusted, shower was really hard to set a good temperature and once you found a good temperature, it would switch from cold to steaming hot!, towels felt damp (I was unsure if they were used or just not fully dried), we could hear the people upstairs walking and no deadbolt, just a lock on the doorknob. We had been given complimentary breakfast vouchers but once I read the reviews on the restaurant, we decided to not take our chances and left the motel first thing in the morning and won't ever be back.
I'm sure this place makes A LOT of money during the peak season since it is so close to the provincial park...they can do a whole lot better and should!

Yes, there is a lengthy screened in deck that runs the length of the motel rooms on its back side. As a result, it is one long deck. Of course the deck comes with chairs. However, the motel is not right on the bay so seeing it well is not the best view. Plus during the time we were there it was quite cool and cloudy so we did not use it. I opened the back door to our room two times just to see what it looked like and I noticed only one other person sitting there. On a nice day it would be better. There also was a large sort of back yard to the motel as well.
