From the moment of arrival, we received fantastic hospitality from owners and staff. A little bit of back story here. This Inn was recently acquired by the owners in 2021 and just re-opened in July 2021.

Beth and Paul, the new owners, are open, warm, friendly, and truly caring about their clientele. We booked the special stay for four nights and pay for three. The room was as it appeared online, clean, bright, tastefully decorated, quiet and very comfortable, with a wonderful view of the Bay of Fundy. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, not lunch. It is led by an exceptional executive chef who you can imagine going to the market every day to get the latest, freshest catch to serve up to you.

The breakfast menu has something on it to suit every taste. We enjoyed the food and my wife liked the vegetarian and lactose free options as well. My personal favorite was the blueberry pancakes. The dinner menu varied from night to night with a fixed and elegant set of meal offerings supplemented with nightly specials. All the seafood was great and for us beef eaters the steak was great as well. We were able to enjoy most meals out on the new patio with firepit tables.

Beth and Paul were very helpful. More than willing to take their time to talk to you, answer any questions and point out local attractions. St. Martins is a small town along the coast of the Bay of Fundy near the Fundy trail. There is plenty of fresh seafood around all season long and the natural wonders are beautiful attractions to visit. The Inn has access to the beach that you walk along for miles.

The wait staff were very friendly and attentive to your needs. Everyone made our stay there a wonderful experience.

The location is great, water views. Very nice rooms and common areas in the main Inn. We stayed in one of the water view rooms outside of the main inn. Breakfast (included) was very good with several options. Dinner however, left alittle to be desired. Mussels (main course) were severely overcooked served with bread wedges (which were good) but there was no way this should have constituted a meal. I am not a big eater but there simply wasn't enough food and not a value in line with the price.
As for the room, appointed very nicely, comfy bed but seems the workmanship could have been better. Leak in the base of the toilet, hand towel rack fell off and another guest had a faucet come off. There was a nice tub and a few suggestions would be to add a nice bathrobe to the room along with some bath lotions. Housekeeping showed up at 5:00 and by then we were starting to prepare for dinner. Virtually no functional wifi in the room, which we spoke to the manager about. The manager let us know the owner (Paul) was coming on site and may need to put a wifi booster in our room. We never heard another word and to not have wifi was an issue as we had to make some travel changes. Overall a nice play but needs to step up attention to detail and dinner menu and quality. For the price, should have been perfect.

We stayed here for 1 night on our Maritimes road trip in July. I was lucky to get a room last minute and stayed in the Inn on the third floor with was immaculate and adorable. The location is wonderful with a stones throw to the most beautiful rocky beach. The hospitality and charm of the owners Beth & Paul can be felt and reflected throughout the entire building an staff. The attention to detail and accents of the furnishings are incredibly warm an inviting. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was amazingly fresh and delicious, and breakfast was included with great options. My only suggestion would be to keep some gluten free bread in the freezer for breakfast toast. The chef was so accommodating with my celiac disease to ensure I could eat safe! I wish we could have spent more time here and hope to be back someday!

Beth and Paul are the perfect hosts. They genuine care that their guests have a great experience. All the staff were warm and helpful.
The inn was recently renovated and all the rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with a mix of contemporary and antique furnishing. Some rooms have a sitting area, and all with a modern bathroom. We had a room on the second floor of the main building, and we awoke every morning to the wonderful aroma of breakfast from the restaurant downstairs. On one rainy afternoon, they made strawberry-rhubarb jam that they served for breakfast.
The chef was amazing and he let the ingredients speak for themselves, without overdoing the seasoning or the presentations. We ate all of our dinners at the restaurant during our entire 3-night stay.
There is a lot to do for the outdoor enthusiasts, and Beth and Paul will direct you to the local hiking trails and beaches.
Can't really go wrong staying here, even on a rainy day.

This is a great place to stay but not so good for the food and drink. There is no tea or coffee in the bedroom or available out of food serving times. The breakfasts have limited choice and one option only. And a real disappointment was the lobster panini at dinner which was two slice of bread with some sort of spread and a few small flakes of lobster

I spent two nights at The Beach Street Inn last fall and it was a wonderful surprise, My room was beautiful, brand new everything including a pristine bathroom that I think we may have been the first to use. The Inn keeper made everything so easy for us - she is super friendly and has inside scoop on the area so we didnt waste a minute of our time. We ate two dinners there and both were super tasty - the menu is hearty with lots of local farm and ocean to table ingredients so really yummy. Finally St, Martins itself is just beautiful - there is a crazy amazing view around every corner.

Thank you Pamela for the lovely review! We worked hard to make the Inn a place where guests felt at home. Our goal is to always surprise and delight. We are so fortunate to have such a great chef. He does wonders in the kitchen, Periwinkles has turned out to be a very special place for St. Martins. I can't wait to get back and order a St Martins Summer Salad and Tenderloin.... or maybe the Bay of Fundy scallops....

Just returned home from our stay at the newly renovated Beach Street Inn in St. Martins, New Brunswick. Our stay at the Inn was exceptional. The new owners, Paul and Beth were so welcoming and helpful in ensuring our experience was perfect and graciously provided all the highlights of all the town, surrounding area and what to see in Fundy Trail Parkway. We stayed in the Skillen Room on the 3rd floor and had an excellent view of the Bay of Fundy. A two minute walk from the stony beach which extends for miles. We had both breakfast and supper in the Inn both days and the food and service was exceptional (Menu was 5 star). Breakfast was included with the room with several options. The Inn was immaculate and everyone was welcoming. A great vacation and hope to return again in anticipation of what the Winkle's have in store as they continue to add to the excellent accommodations at their Inn.

What a wonderful stay on our way to PEI . Changed our plans and skipped over Saint John for this welcoming Inn in St Martins. We had a fabulous breakfast with the most personable waitress! The owner was helpful in our route to Pei and we were able to enjoy the trip through the Fundy park drive. Definitely stay at this Inn. Wish we had more than one night here.

We were accommodated in the room "the Rourke" on the 3rd level of the main building on 24/08/24. Nicely decorated room with a small terrace and we were enchanted but we quickly disillusioned because when we arrived around 4pm we noticed a deafening and incessant noise in the room, the floor and walls trembled as well as the furniture. We went for a walk in the village and on our return around 6:30 pm the noise being still present, we asked the origin and if it would stop. In fact it was the ventilation of the kitchen of the Pension restaurant located below... I asked to change rooms because in the middle of jet lag, we wanted to rest - I was then told that the Pension was full and that the kitchen closed around 9 pm or 10 pm... actually the kitchen closed at 8:50 pm... unfortunately the next morning at 7 am the kitchen reopened for breakfast and we fled.... I had booked directly on the Pension website, and I regret that I did not receive any apology or compensation for this Pension night that I paid at the High Award 312.74 CAD.. what a pity this lack of respect towards guests admittedly from Europe and who have little chance to return ... this may be the reason for this special treatment.
FLEE the "the rourke" room at this Inn, others apparently do not have the same problem
it is more than 15 Trips undertaken in the USA // Canada & other countries in the world and this is the first time that such a disappointment happens to us, it takes a first time ...

The inn is lovely and tastefully decorated. We had the Moonlight Room, which has a full-sized bed and a fireplace. It also has a jacuzzi bath, which was a lovely way to wind down the day. The inn is family-run, and they are very friendly. We also had dinner here, and were very satisfied (but make a reservation.) The dining room is beautiful, but we are in the bar, which was more to my taste. Breakfast was included in our stay, and we happily ate eggs, bacon, and toast in the sunny dining room. Overall, a great stay very close to the St. Martin Sea Caves.
