We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights, July 31st to Aug 3. Our room was in the Carriage House. Large room with king bed and private balcony facing the lawns and Bay of Fundy. Room included a good sized fridge, small sitting area and a large couch which pulls out to make queen bed. Bathroom is large with cabinet storage under sink, rainforest shower and cozy bathrobes. Extra towels, etc also provided. Breakfast was included in room rate and delivered to our room due to COVID guidelines about numbers and buffets. Fresh coffee was available at the main house and there's also a coffee maker in the room. There is a restaurant in the house open for guests. It is beautifully appointed (linen tablecloths, nice china). Menu included fresh scallops and haddock, fresh vegetables and a delicious homemade mushroom soup. Service with a smile from the cheerful young waitress.
All rooms in the house have balconies. The gardens and outside sitting areas are lovely.
Our only suggestions were to add a wardrobe or hooks in the room so that coats/jackets can be hung up. There is little soundproofing between the rooms and as we were on the ground level, we heard all the footsteps, etc from upstairs. Luckily, everyone seemed to retire at a reasonable hour.
Thanks for your hospitality and a relaxing stay.

For their 2020 season, due to the Covid, they opened on July 2nd and we stayed from July 2nd to 5th. The place and the owner/hostess are charming. The grounds are full of flower beds and include a little island on the front lawn pound. We chose an ocean-facing room with a balcony in the Annex: The room was spacious and wonderfully comfortable and allowed us to eat dinner on the balcony. Antiques lovers will enjoy the decoration of the main building. Breakfasts and one take-out lunch were entirely satisfactory. At dinner in the dining room, the food was simple but delicious, with unexpected sprinkles of originality. We spent our days walking trails along the beautiful Fundy Trail Parkway, a short drive from St. Martins.

Our visit to St. Martin’s Country Inn was fantastic. The charm of this place cannot be stated in words or shown in photos. You need to arrive and feel it. It was like getting a warm hug at the end of a long day. The owner was away, however her more than capable right hand man was there within minutes of our call. We were treated to tour of the inn and given the necessary info to enjoy our stay. We are a family of four so we booked the double room and you our delight it came with a stunning view off the balcony. You could sit and enjoy the sites of the Bay of Fundy as well listen to it’s calming waves in the evening. The bathroom was well stocked with all you needed and the thoughtful extras in the room such as glassware, wineglasses and a corkscrew were much appreciated as well. The continental breakfast the next morning was fresh, inviting and delicious. We were sorry the owner/chef were not there for the full breakfast experience but this was a delight just the same. We will definitely return and recommend to anyone going that way!

On July 4, 2020, we were fortunate to spend a night at The St. Martins Country Inn. After a wonderful day of hiking on The Fundy Trail and taking a drive along The Fundy Parkway with all its stunning views, we returned to the Inn where our lovely spacious and well appointed room awaited us. Along with our NB 'bubble couple', the wonderful day continued with a deliciously prepared meal by our very friendly host, Lynette. Lynette and her 'mini staff' made us feel very much at home in a very relaxed and beautiful setting. Breakfast the following morning was excellent and enjoyed in a most relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a gem in beautiful New Brunswick, Canada. Thank you Lynette.

I spent 3 wonderful days being pampered and made to feel so welcomed at this beautiful historic inn filled with interesting items wherever you looked. Lynette took so much time checking to see that I had everything I needed and always had time to talk with me.
My evening meals in the dining room were delicious, generous and made even more enjoyable due to the lovely setting and views.
I had a very relaxed and special “staycation” and highly recommend it to everyone.
With the fabulous Fundy Trail being so close to St. Martin’s it greatly added to my 3 day escape.
Five stars all around.

Just returned from a wonderful stay in St. Martins at the St. Martins Country Inn and Vaughan's Restaurant. . The room was clean , comfortable and well equipped. Lynette the owner was helpful from the time of booking to our checkout. Dinner and breakfast were first rate and one had a feeling of being welcomed and appreciated the whole time. Bobby gave us a lunch recommendation which also worked out well. If you are considering doing the new Fundy Parkway and hiking trails which are well worth the visit you will not find a better place to make your base.

We stayed for a week, first in August 2019 and then last October, for a photography workshop. We loved the large, clean and quiet room furnished in antiques, with a patio overlooking the Bay of Fundy. The Inn is surrounded by gardens and a forest and is a short walk from the shore and the village, and from the port and sea caves. Its restaurant serves delicious and generous home-made breakfasts, lunches and dinners using local ingredients with skill and imagination. The welcoming, thoughtful staff members made us feel like valued friends. We'll be back!

We spent one night at this lovely Inn recently and really enjoyed it. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed their lively and engaging conversation. Just exactly what one hopes for in a bed and breakfast experience. Breakfast was delicious. We were given three choices .. eggs Benedict. traditional bacon/ham sausage/homefries breakfast or French toast .. all served with a nice little dish of berries. Our room was in the carriage house rather than the main building. We had a balcony with a nice view of the water, which we enjoyed. The room was spotless with a modern bathroom with a rain shower. The king bed was super comfortable .. happy, happy, lol. All in all, a great visit, and we certainly would return and would highly recommend this B & B to anyone looking for a great getaway .. go ..

Last summer we spent a night in this beautiful inn built in 1867 and decided to visit again this past weekend , Lynette ,our hostess and staff made us feel so welcomed, feeling like we were part of the family. The building is full of lovely antique furniture and dishes. We had a lovely view of the flower beds and the Fundy Bay from our room. Supper in the dining room was delicious. With recent events due to Covid -19, we felt quite comfortable staying here and look forward to perhaps another visit this year.

We have stayed at the Country Inn two years in a row and will certainly return. It is remarkable in every way, with a family atmosphere in the midst of elegant vintage furniture and decoration. Exceptional cleanliness and delicious food round out the experience (homemade jams and locally made sausage at breakfast!). We have traveled extensively and the St. Martins Country Inn is at the top of our list for exquisite accommodation.
