The room was clean and the service was friendly but it could do with some much needed upgrades. The furnishings screamed the '70s and everything looked just a little tired. It was, however, a short walk to restaurants and stores.

This place was a dump! Looking at the outside, we did not get a good feeling, but decided to give it a try. Well it just got worse. The room we got was outdated, lacking plugs for our devices, a mini fridge that wasn't working and towels which had a sign on them that stated we would be charged $15...

The great Doctor of the Church St. Teresa of Avila is said to have commented that "Life is a night spent at an uncomfortable inn." That would be a fair description of a night spent at the St. Stephen Inn, which advertises "the best rates in town." We've stayed there a couple of times, maybe more, arriving late at night...

It's not the Ritz, but it is a clean, quiet, and inexpensive motel, located within easy walking distance of the downtown area. The furnishings are old and the rooms could use a repaint, but it is otherwise clean and tidy. Wi-Fi is fast & free. Beds are comfortable.

The room was dated furnishings, dirty and smelled bad! I had to ask for WiFi log in, cable did not work, owner had to reset. No phone in room to call front desk. No hair dryer. I would not recommend this motel

This is a $25 per night motel and nothing more. Who gave 2 stars to this establishment at Canada Select? Can live with old and out of date but the stench in this building on the second floor is a disgrace. $80 was a total rip off. If this is the last place in St-Stephen that has rooms left, travel...

Originally I wondered how this hotel would be for the money. Although it was dated, it was clean, very comfortable and spacious. I liked the idea it was close to the downtown area and river. A nice walk about. Also the restaurants were walkable as well.

Just a one night stay at this inn while my car was being repaired in Calais. I stayed in Room 103 on the first floor. There was a king bed, a nice sofa, a flat screen tv, a refrigerator, and free wifi. The room was VERY clean. There is no telephone or microwave, but I don't need either of those....

Clean, comfortable rooms, Owner was very pleasant during check in process. Great place for travelers looking for one night stay. Pet friendly. We were charged an additional $10.00 for the dog. King size bed in the room. Kitchen was closed at time of stay.

This is an old fashioned "mom and pop" type motel. Yes, it has seen better days but it is clean and comfortable and the owners really work hard at keeping it in shape and pleasing their customers. They also try to keep their price competitive. There are restaurants in the area. We always stay here when crossing the border in...
