My dad and I recently stayed at this relaxing and cozy hotel during our travels around the Bonavista Peninsula, and we were very impressed. We had such picturesque a view from our room, as the hotel is located on the waterfront next to the town's harbour and fishing docks, and enjoyed walking along the boardwalk. Our room and bathroom were...

Stayed for 1 night as a couple in the suite. This hotel is beautiful and clean. Decor is lovely, attention paid to detail in every way. The room was large and had a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean. Check in was smooth, staff very friendly. Free wifi which was good. Continental breakfast was included; muffins, toast, cereal, juice. We would definitely...

Bonavista was on our whirlwind tour of Newfoundland - wanting to take in some of the communities that are not just on the TCH. Made the reservations directly over the phone with the Inn and they were more than helpful. We arrived after a fairly long drive from St John's (including stops) and found the Harbour Quarters to be much...

We stayed one night in a third floor suite in this inn. It was very roomy with lots of Windows, comfortable and tastefully decorated with hand crafted furniture in the Newfoundland style. It also featured two flat screen TV's and an undercounter fridge, and the large bathroom had a separate shower and a large jacuzzi. The brownish color of the water,...

Stayed here on our tour of Newfoundland. Has a very scenic location. Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both of which were very good. It was raining and glad we didn't have to leave the hotel...or settle for an inferior meal. I booked our room a month in advance for this trip and would advise everyone to do the...

This seems to be the main hotel in Bonavista. It is beautiful. We had a room over looking the harbour. The room was a good size with a queen size bed. It is a quiet hotel with a restaurant attached. There is a small lift to go up to the rooms if needed. It is a good hotel in a...

Great hotel. Very scenic location on the water. There is currently road construction in front of the hotel but it did not hinder access to the hotel. We were visiting on a three day weekend so noise was not an issue. Our suite was large and clean. Bed comfort was adequate. Especially welcome was the elevator. Good view of the...

We took our American friends to Boavista and lucky for us, we had our reservations made MONTHS before our trip. Yes, this hotel is that popular. Excellent “old” hotel in all respects. Try to get a room in the back with a view of the harbour. Definitely recommended! they also have a nice restaurant. The service was good, the food...

We arrived in the afternoon and were slightly dismayed to see road construction directly in front of the hotel. However, it really didn't affect traffic much and the road crew didn't work at night. Our 2 queen beds room was clean and comfortable. The room decor is outdated - I haven't seen those dark colours and polyester bed covers since...

The hotel is advertised as 4 star. In my opinion it is not, 3 star perhaps. The rooms are comfortable but a little on the small side and offer noting out of the ordinary, as such they are a bit over priced.
