Having toured L'Anse aux Medows on a cold and windy day we were looking forward to our reservation at Viking Village. We were shown to room B and we had a large queen bed, full bath with plenty of storage. This room had a nice deck off the room with a wonderful view. Unfortunately, we we unable to take advantage...

The rooms are modest but a reasonable size and many have small patios with views of the ocean. There is a comfortable common area for socializing with other guests. There was a hot breakfast with several options. If you book it the night before, you may have dinner there as well, which we did and had a great moose roast...

This was our first time staying in a B&B and the experience was quite pleasant. Thelma, the owner, was sweet and the den mother. She was interested in how our day went and made suggestions for evening meals and other tourist attractions. It was a great location. The breakfast was adequate for a B&B with basic choices. If you wanted...

Knotty pine walls, cottage-style furnishings made this B&B cozy but not deluxe. Clean and comfortable with big living room area for guests to visit. Close to Viking ruins and not too far from St. Anthony's for great whale watching. 5-10 minute drive to two good restaurants--Norseman and Northern Delight. NO cell phone service and slow internet.

A great quality room. Comfortable bed, excellent artesian well water, excellent services and breakfast. This is a quality Bed & Breakfast with a great location close to all tourist features in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here and sitting on the deck in the evening watching the sun go down. The room was clean and you a decent breakfast in the morning. I would have liked a little more choice for breakfast. If you didn't want eggs and bacon you could only get oatmeal (instant), cream of wheat or corn flakes.

The place is nice, has laundry and ensuite bathrooms. Internet is available but isn't very fast but that is to be expected so far north. There is breakfast provided which is great though they ask for the time you want it ready which we said 8:15 but it wasn't ready until 8:45. If you are on a schedule keep that...

29-31 July Owner was not on site but we were warmly greeted by Madge who tended to our every need during our stay. A comfortable and rustic living area was provided for the guests to relax. It tended to be a communal gathering place at the end of the day for guests to share their experiences. A guest fridge was...
