These accommdations were great for our needs and comfortable, but unfortunately lacked AC at a time it would have been nice. I have to assume it is rare that AC is an issue in this region? The bed and the ammenities were great for the price and a well appointed private bathroom was nice.
The included breakfast was one of the best we had our whole trip!
Be prepared for some mosquitoes and blackflies and your GPS may have trouble pinpointing this location...so pay attention to signage in the area.

The room was cozy, clean and in a great area! The ladies that take care of this b&b are absolutely amazing. So friendly and willing to share their knowledge of the area. They made the best ever breakfast with the best local homemade jams and jellies. We truly felt at home here and wish we could have spent more time.

Nice view of the sea if you have a room seaside, personal deck and chairs a nice touch. Rooms are a bit small and walls a bit thin. Breakfast is nice, although repetitive if you stay more than 1 night. The staff are friendly. Best restaurant for dinner is the lovely Norseman in Norstead, very close by.

Very cozy rooms, small bathroom, great breakfast with two choices, nice common room where you can chat with other guests. If lucky, you will have a patio with water view (we didn’t). Walls a bit thin if you have a noisy neighbours. Very close to Viking Village National Park. Recommend Daily Cath for dinner. Definitely recommend,

Great location for visiting the viking area! Beautiful main house. The breakfast was excellent and the ladies serving it, very kind and personable. We were in the rooms that were lot in the main house. They were nice and clean. Unfortunately, the shower water had an off-smell. I'd highly recommend staying in the main house.

We traveled all around Newfoundland and stayed in many B&B'S, This was the best! Beautiful room, beautiful surroundings, great hostess, great food. Really enjoyed our 2 day stay. It was so quiet and peaceful, wish we would have stayed longer. Highly recommend this B&B.

Stayed two nights at The Viking Nest B&B in L'Anse aux Meadows in August 2004. This has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Thelma and family are so warm and hospitable! The house is beautifully clean and the breakfasts are superb. The fresh homemade bread everyday is a MUST SEE!! We highly recommend The Viking Nest.

Having never stayed at a B & B before, my husband & I weren't sure what to expect. This place was cozy, comfy, immaculate & inviting. Upon arriving, we were warmly welcomed and led to the room we had requested ( shoes off, to keep the place neat & tidy). We had a spacious room, with an ocean view & private bathroom. The room was spotless. There is no television in your room, but there is one in the main gathering area. However, it was nice to get away from tv & enjoy other people's company and the stunning views. We had sliding doors, that led to a large deck with chairs to watch the stunning sunsets & sunrise. Being so far North, it doesn't get dark till around 11pm & the sun rises early too. We signed up for the dinner ( about $15.00) so worth it for the amount & quality of food you get. We both went for the moose dinner. All homemade & heapings of food, that you can't even dare to think of eating a snack later on. We also ate breakfast here for the 2 mornings we were there, and it was another treat! Please try the jams-you won't be sorry. If you venture out at dusk, you will be treated to many moose roaming around. We saw too many to count. This location is minutes away from the L'anse Aux Meadows Historical location, which is a must to go visit. All in all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was super clean, beds were comfy to sleep in, the view is spectacular, and we were lucky enough to see some icebergs floating by. You can't beat the home cooking, the variety of wonderful people you get to meet & the price is outstanding to most places I've stayed at. An A++++++.

Ask for an Ocean Facing Room at the Viking Village. Sliding door leads to a porch. The view is breathtaking. We could see a huge iceberg a few miles out. One of the few places with icebergs in June 2006. Price iIncludes a full breakfast. Full dinner can be had for a further $14 per person (a real bargin when you look at quality and quantity. Rooms are spotless clean and nicely decorated. At $64 plus tax (visa) it is a bargin.
