Needed a place to stay that I could take my dog. All other places in area were booked up. Heard this hotel was run down but didn't expect beetles crawling all over the ceiling and leaky toilet water on floor. Room smelled musty and gross. Was charged $50 for a "pet friendly" room which only means you are in the...

We would never stay here again. You can hear everything from the rooms next to yours. You can hear your neighbours conversations, toilets flushing, showers running and the TV programs they are watching. Not to mention that the first floor hosts the banquets facilities so since we were on the first floor, we had wedding guests walking past our room...

Enjoyed the golf and the course conditions. The accommodations are dated, the pool dirty and unkempt. Needs and infusion of cash. The staff were not interested or attentive. We would come back for golf but not to stay.

We were driving down the west coast of the Bonavista Peninsula looking for a place to stay and near a decent restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised to find this golf resort just outside Port Blandford. Everyone was very friendly. The food in their dining room was very good, wine selection was good and reasonably priced. Pool was warm and...

As stated by a number of other reviewers, this hotel is badly in need of some updating. The decor and finishes are worn and dated throughout. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, although the bathroom sink leaked and the bathroom door didn't close (!) The quality of the service provided by the staff was variable. Some of the staff...

Close to the exit of the Trans Canada Highway. In the middle of the golf course. Large accommodation. Spacious rooms but rather 'standard' type hotel room. Restaurant and bar (Mulligan's Bar) on premises. Heated swimming pool. Ideal starting point for hiking or other activities in the Terra Nova Park. And of course for a round of golf...

Stayed 2 nights on our tour & enjoyed the premises. Staff were friendly & accommodating. Enjoyed the Jigg's Dinner served to our group on the first night. Wait staff were very helpful & attentive. Rooms were very clean, modern & quite large. Beautiful view from our 3'rd floor window overlooking the golf course & the lake. Breakfast was the buffet...

This is a place that tries to be classier than it is. Unfortunately 5 star service starts with exactly that, service. Not with fancy websites, not with marble floors, but old fashioned personal customer service. Things like responding to emails, or being friendly. I booked a room here for work, but hours later, after reading the tripadvisor reviews I got...

this was a great location for a wedding, the grounds would be beautiful in the summer. The rooms were average, clean and had a keurig. There was an ice machine on our floor, as well as a sitting area in the centre of the hall with patio doors to a balcony, that had a table and chairs, which was very...

A hidden gem nestled in Port Blandford, NL. A very scenic golf course, in great shape, with beautiful views from most holes, some very challenging and across riviers, swerving along a most picturesque salmon river. I have never golfed on a course where you could see salmon jumping, wishing I had a rod in my hand, and seeing a fox!...
