This place was fantastic! Ruby and her team were great and the cabin was beautiful. The cabin had a gorgeous view overlooking Rocky Harbour. This would be a great place to bring kids as there is plenty of space for children to run around both inside and out. There is lots to do and see in and around this beautiful little town.

Spent three nights here and wanted for nothing .... everything needed was included in the kitchen amenities and the cottage was clean and comfortable! Enjoyed chatting with the owner/operators and staff - everyone so friendly. Recommend this place as a good home base for exploring an amazing area of the Province.

Wow! Impressive. There’s clean and then there’s CLEAN! These cottages are positively gleaming. Spacious living and dining areas, large bedroom and bathroom. Everything you need is here. Perfect! The only thing missing is a sea view, ... but it’s right across the street, only a few steps away. And a killer sunset viewing spot at the end of the road.

This place is a bar above everywhere else I've stayed because of the wonderful owner. It's been a long time since I've felt the individual touch to this degree. Beautiful and updated rooms. Can't wait to return. You're basically in the park while staying here.

Great cottage for a central location while visiting Gros Morne National Park. This hotel has both cottages and motel rooms. It was only $10 more for a cottage. Definitely worth the extra money for the additional space. Everything was clean and tidy in the unit. I enjoyed having the kitchen facilities - especially the refrigerator.

Bayside cottages provided an excellent location and good value for our visit to Gros Morne. The cottages were roomy and spotless. All needed amenities were available. Staff were friendly, helpful and avaiable for any concerns. I would stay again.

We were staying 3 nights in one of the cabins. These cottages have modern accommodation concept - basically they know what travellers need most during their tour and provide it. When the owner told me there was a kitchen over the phone of booking, I didn't pay much attention. When we got there, we found it was a full size one bedroom apartment! Living room with a sofa bed, kitchen with all types of cookware. Room temperature is adjustable. Typically I fear cold. But I was satisfied at this time. Quality of bedding, furniture are on the average level. But I don't complain as the price charged. The apt is very clean. One of the benefit is there is a fish market on the east end of road. There is very inexpensive live seafood. We enjoyed a lot in cooking fresh seafood in the room. Another tip is the Java Jack's restaurant is amazing with combination of food and arts.

Personally, I prefer cabin better since it is detached so very quiet.

The only problem we encountered is internet signal was not very strong. Hopefully it has been fixed since then.

Clean, nice, good location. Unfortunately cabin 6 has a very strong, unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom (cat urine?). Had to leave the fan on and the door closed. The rest of the 2 bedroom cabin was great. How did housekeeping not notice the smell?

Our family of four spent a total of three nights at Bayside Cottages on our recent trip to Gros Morne. The owner and his staff were very friendly and accommodated our every need. The cottages were easily located off the main street of Rocky Harbour. Our spacious two bedrom cottage was equipped with all the amenities of home. The most strking part of the cottage was the cleanliness!! The view of the harbour was spectacular; the sunset was one of the most incredible we have ever seen. We would not hesitate to recommend Bayside Cottages to our family and friends.

Our main purpose to be there was to attend the 14 day Trails Tales and Tunes Festival, which was fabulous. We visited The Arches Provincial Park in Portland Creek, which was most interesting. I think they'd enjoy the Western Brook Pond Boat Tour (not opened yet when we were there, but I've done it before), there are lots of hiking trails around the area, which we enjoyed, Theatre Newfoundland Labrador (Cow Head) and of course Gros Morne National Park. We enjoyed the tour around Bon Bay and taking the water taxi to Woody Point. Must visit Norris Point. One restaurant we enjoyed with reasonable prices was Jackie's Restaurant in Rocky Hr. and Justin Thyme Bean and Bistro in Norris Point was one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. It's mussels are to die for. We of course spent most of our time at the Festival and we were 4 adults. I hope this is a little helpful.
