We loved staying in one of the cottages adjacent to Fisherman's Landing Inn. The cottage was either newly built or recently renovated. It had everything we needed for a pleasant 3-day stay. It was not right in town, but that made the place a lot quieter. It wasn't far, though, so took a nice walk on the trail along the brook. The sunset was fantastic from the waterfront. The cottage was a great place to rest after a full day of hiking! We would definitely return!

Good spot for a reasonable meal. The food was good quality and we would return. Some of the staff are very entertaining. You feel very welcome here. They have pizza and soft serve ice cream in addition to the usual fare. Pan fried Cod was a fave here!

Close to highway and town. Clean utilitarian rooms. Access from interior and exterior doors , which was handy. Breakfast offered sometimes, but no schedule posted. No views of water / mountains. Free use of washer and dryer - very handy for a long trip. Related to the downtown restaurant.

Stayed here for a couple nights while hiking in Gros Morne. Room was clean and well looked after. Service at the front desk was helpful. Room access to the hallway but also directly outside to our car was very helpful for packing. Sadly the hot tub wasn’t functioning when we were there. Hot breakfast at their restaurant was delicious. Slightly off the main street away from some of the restaurants but everything was a 2min drive. Overall a very solid place to stay while in Rocky Harbour. Would stay there again.

We have eaten in this restaurant three times in 24 hours. The food is very good and reasonably priced, but the waitress, Susan , deserves special mention. A special needs young man upset a full glass of water over himself and took it badly, to say the least. Susan rushed to his aid, and calmed him down with ease, and had him laughing in minutes. That lady has special talents!

I feel so totally rejuvenated after just spending several fine nights at the Fisherman’s Landing Inn in Rocky Harbour,NL. Words seem inadequate to describe the caliber and high level of service provided by the efficient, kind, caring and pleasant staff at this facility. Your every request is dealt with expeditiously and immediately with a smile. The hotel itself is beautiful and immaculately clean with beautiful furnishings and paintings. In my lifetime I have stayed in hundreds of hotels but none exceed the cleanliness and service provided at this facility.,which I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in this area.. Thanks again for your wonderful service and you truly are a home away from home. I can’t wait for my next visit. John Parsons, Corner Brook, Newfoundland

I found that the A/C wasn’t working, there was a dirty towel in the bathroom, dirt on the door, and no one on duty after 5:30, in fact door to lobby was locked. Unable to reach a staff person when telephoned. Not good value for the rate.

Just 5 minutes from the beautiful scenic water front Fishermans landing is a quiet, relaxing and clean Inn. The staff were so helpful and personable, from the front desk to the cleaners and the restaurant servers, to all are great, thank you. We stayed here for 2 nights during our 30th anniversary Staycations.
