The Claddagh Inn, once the Saint Ann's Presentation convent, was transformed into a quaint traditional Irish style Inn by local craftsmen. Completely refreshed by its new owners in 2011 and 2012, it boasts 6 private en-suite rooms. There's a spacious honeymoon suite with majestic king-size canopy bed and spa bath and also a double room available for family travellers. "Padraig's Folly" is a cozy guest pub or "snug" featuring a fine selection of whiskeys, a local craft beer on tap, and other refreshments for guests to enjoy during dinner, in the pub, or while enjoying the view of peaceful St. Mary's Bay from the deck. This eclectic pub is furnished with re-claimed furniture from the nun's chapel. St. Mary's Bay Snow Crab is our signature dish in the dinning room where four-course fine dining is offered by reservation. The room features incredible wood work in rich warm textures and is decorated with traditional and international art. The view is remarkable and is a great place to start your traveling day while enjoying a hot three course breakfast in the morning featuring local berries and home made jams. New for 2013: starting in June lunch will be available daily! Bi-lingual service bien sur :) Join us in St. Mary's and enjoy access to the amenities offered by the Irish Loop. Cheers, Salut!

A friend and I wandered onto this lovely, grand place, located not far away from St John's. It's located in a quiet area in St Mary's, atop of hillside, a flush with gorgeous shrubs and flowers. Although we arrived in a rain storm and gray skies, the weather inside the Claddagh

My wife made a 1-night stop at The Claddagh Inn during our Irish Loop trip and on our way to the Bonavista Peninsula. What was actually supposed to be a pragmatic stop half way between to destinations for longer stops turned out to be a distinct positive memory of our

Hi Jonelle, I have to apologize I never knew that there would be inquiries coming from the trip advisor page! We don't subscribe to their full suite of services and I only noticed this inquiry by accident as I was responding to a few more great reviews! We do indeed have availability on the dates that you've requested however our little Inn does not accommodate pets. If you are still interested you can send us an email from our website that can easily be google-searched in a few clicks (TripAdvisor does not allow the posting of websites or HTML in our response): or the B&B Canada website: (again a quick google search) or if you wish give us a call: (709) 525-2229 If you've already found other accommodations we wish you three a great holiday! regards, Patrick

John; a thousand apologies I didn't even know this Q/A section existed until this AM!! Obviously it's the 28th and we missed an opportunity to meet you, I suspect you are attending the annual convention this year in St. John's. We are opened early there were a few others traveling around just before the convention. Again my profound apologies, we've added this to our list of things to check in our ever-growing multi-media portfolio! I hope you were successful in finding accommodations it's a bit early however there are a few locations open as we are! Cheers!
