We stayed here as they had salt water pool, steam room, hydra pool, sauna, and herbal pool. We gotbin the herbal pool and the power went. Complete darkness. But the big windows next to the pool highlighted the bright stars. Total quiet. So perfect. The owners showed up witj flashlights, placed lights on wall above and used them to light our pathwsy to our rooms. No noisy generator. The experience was sureil. Most comfortable beds. If u ever come to NL, I recommend this place. Small town local owners who aim to please. I asked for a chance to come back and use the amenities we didn't get to use. I got two big smiles from them and a definite YES. Anytime to our liking. I wouldn't dare ask for a free night. That would be so mean. They certainly didn't make anything of us.

We spent 7 nights in a 1-bedroom condo and enjoyed our time at MIR. The staff is phenominal; pleasant and helpful. The grounds (a bit wet and muddy given the time of year) are excellent. It's so peaceful and quiet here that it was easy to sleep in. When in this area, MIR is our go to for accommodations (condos and Inn rooms). You get so much more for what you spend than you could get at any of the hotels in Corner Brook. And, CB is just 10 minutes away. We ate at Madison's one evening and were very happy with the service and food (this is in between seasons, so the restaurant was only open Thursday to Saturday). The wifi was very good; was able to do a couple of video calls without any problems. Will be back soon!

Stayed here for 3 nights in a one bedroom condo. We had family in a two bedroom condo in the next building over so we didn't have to cook in our condo, but did use the fridge. While the two bedroom condo had a fullsize fridge with a separate freezer, we had a bigger bar fridge that still fit a bottle of wine and some beers no problem. Bed was VERY comfy. Nearby ski resort has some fun Zip Lines and if you wanted you could walk to the gas station that has a Tim Hortons and a liquor express. Took just over an hour to get to the entrance to Gros Morne.
Used the pool and dry sauna. You have to book a 45 minute slot with the front desk. They are only opening the hot tub and hammam at night time and you have to book a slot for that as well. Would have loved that, but didn't get a chance.
Restaurant was closed the only night we wanted to go for a private function so we had to cobble together a meal. We did run down and ask for some butter which they happily gave us! Thanks Joe!

The room was spacious and comfortable. I deducted 2 stars because after driving across the GNP over the previous week, and looking forward to relaxing in the mineral bath hot tub, I was told I had to book a time and pay $15 extra, just to sit in the hot tub. This was an unacceptable surcharge when we were staying for 2 nights.

Thank your for your comment and appreciate you liking our instalations. Bookings are important for crowd control, better enjoyment of the area, more personal space and less Covid risk. The $15 is for our Thermal cycle service, which included the hot Mineral bath, the Cold plunge, Steam room and Dry Sauna. These are booked after 7:30 as is the adult swim time. This is not accesible during family swim times. The use of the pool is free of charge but also requires a previous booking for the before mentioned motives. Thank you again for staying with us

Harmonia Self Thermal Spa is amazing. The Labradorite Steam Sauna was the best!!!! All of the wonderful things they offer are very beneficial. Dry Sauna, Heated Mineral Bath, Cold Plunge Soak with Waterfall, Salt Water Pool, Vitamin D Light therapy. We were blown away!!! Keep in mind you do not have to be a guest at the INN to reserve a timeslot and all of the therapies are included. Price per hour is such a deal at 50 person per hour!!!! All of the therapies are In 1 private room. It's set up to go from one therapy to the next. It's beautiful.

There are a number of places we have stayed at in the Humber Valley over the years, but without question our favourite is the Marble Inn which is just off the TCH in the village of Steady Brook. It is a four and a half star resort right on the banks of the Humber River. It offers a variety of accommodations from standard hotel rooms to multi-bedroom condos. On our recent visit we were initially booked into a room with a king bed, but I opted to pay the really quite modest amount to upgrade to one of the two bedroom condos. It was a good decision. The condos are exceptionally well equipped for a longer term stay such as a week long skiing or fishing trip.
Sometimes when you are on the road for a couple of weeks, as we were, it is nice to each have your own bathroom and the ones in these condos are great featuring jacuzzis and large shower areas.
Now I'm going to give the most important tip on selecting a room or condo at the Marble Inn. Since you are in the Humber Valley you must have accommodations that provide a view of the Humber River which is literally a stone's throw from some of the buildings. Each of the condos has a nice deck and your stay will be much more relaxing if you have a view of the river rather than the Trans-Canada Highway. By all means pay the extra price for a river front room.
Aside from the great accommodations, the Marble Inn is a great base in summer for Humber Valley river activities such as canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding. However, if the Humber River is famous for just one thing, it is the legendary size of its wild Atlantic salmon. Fishermen come from around the world to fish this river and during our time in the Humber Valley we saw many people engaged in the zen-like art of fly fishing which is the only type allowed on the Humber River.

Stayed with another couple during Covid. So despite most of the services not available the price was not reduced. The hot tub closes No restaurant the nights we stayed. The room is set up for two couples I really like the setup with bedrooms separated by living space with two bathrooms. It was very clean. Kitchen is nice but not a lot supplies 4 cups etc. The seating is very uncomfortable as my biggest beef was only seating for three in a unit set up for 4 people. The grounds are lovely on the water very picturesque but could be kept up better. Weeding. A platform with no railing. Picnic tables need paint. They have gas BBQ but charge 10.00 to use them. I just don’t get that. Bottom line I would not stay there again for that price.

We last stayed at the Marble Inn about 5 years ago and loved our visit. Our one night stay last week did not disappoint. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We had arrived early, but the lady at the desk went upstairs to see if the room was fully cleaned and ready. The room was similar to the one we had before in the main Inn, with a comfortable bed, a full bathroom with tiled tub surround, a kitchenette and a sofa. I found the pillows too large and hard for me, as I’m a side or tummy sleeper and I couldn’t use them. But otherwise the room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. We were only staying one night while we visited friends in the area, but I would have been happy to stay longer and would gladly recommend it to friends.

I arrived in Deer Lake on business and my accommodations were not prebooked. A colleague suggested Marble Inn Resort with a contact number. Immediately, the owner acknowledged my dilemma and had accommodations for me. He was there when I arrived and was kind, hospitable and available for any concerns I had. I was there for 6 weeks and would recommend to anyone travelling. The restaurant Madison’s served delicious food for my palate and would highly recommend. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous to my needs during my stay. The roosters/ hens roaming around added a special touch. So cute!

Had a six night stay here while hiking on the west coast. This resort is in a great location on the Humber across from Marble Mtn and a five minute drive into Corner Brook. The resort has a lot of potential. I felt the grounds could’ve been kept up a little better but I guess in the resort’s defence it’s a winter resort. I dealt with three ladies at the front desk. The lady upon check in wasn’t that friendly helpful however the lady upon checkout was really pleasant as was another lady who helped me book the final night. Rooms are good. Certainly could use an extra blanket as the bedding is thin and the only extra blanket we used on the pull out sofa. For the price I would certainly stay again. One thing we did enjoy was sitting out on their small deck area by the river in the evening.
