Detailed Reviews
Trinity is one of my favourite spots to stay when exploring the Bonavista peninsula at any time of the year. We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate the New Year. The Inn was open for the holidays. Our stay was great right from the minute we arrived. We were warmly welcomed by the owners Michelle and Paul and they were available during our stay should we have had any questions. We enjoyed walking around the town in ideal winter weather.
The Inn has been carefully restored and the rooms are equipped with a kitchenette for preparing your own light meals ,a real plus when staying in rural Newfoundland. I particularly liked the sitting room which was separate from the bedroom in our suite. The furnishings, bedding and towels are reflective of the quality of the Inn. Great care has been taken to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. If you are coming to Trinity,Rosewood Suites is a great place to stay.

My wife and I recently spent a week at the Rosewood. This remarkably restored heritage inn offers warmth, comfort and convenience in a quaint historical setting. The rooms are tastefully appointed, combining beautiful contemporary art with photographs of the inn's historic past as well as other more subtle reminders such as wavy glass windows and slightly sloping floors. The kitchenette offers modern appliances and sufficient space for making simple meals and the bathroom is luxurious. Everything is spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained. The hosts Michele and Paul go out of their way to accommodate your needs and guide you to many points of interest in the surrounding village and spectacular countryside. A vacation stay at Rosewood promises a magical escape.

A skillful blending of historic and modern - super clean, restful, private and welcoming. Absolutely couldn't ask for anything better! We stayed in a dog-friendly room which was perfect for our needs, and quite frankly, it was so spotless, you'd never know any pets had ever been there before. It's obvious the owners exert a lot of time and energy in the maintenance of this beautiful property. Two others in our travelling party had the same wonderful experience - we all heartily recommend!

My family stayed here on Victoria Day weekend for 1 night.
We were so impressed with the suites. We booked 3 of the suites which included the Poplar for 4 people( 2 bedroom) Cherry for a couple (1 bedroom) and Juniper for an individual( studio style) . The property has been renovated beautifully. The suites are very well appointed and and spacious. The suites felt more like little apartments. Everything you need is there including a well kitted out kitchen and fill size refrigerator.
The beds were very comfortable and even though it was a full house for the weekend, it was amazingly quiet.
Trinity itself is picturesque.
I would definitely book in here again this summer but I expect it will book up quickly! Highly recommended.

The ground floor accessible suite we had was roomy, attractive, and very clean. There was a small kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with roll-in shower.
The property is late 19th c., on a quiet lane for easy strolling around town.
And the price was reasonable!

We recently stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. A beautiful place to stay. This suite is well equipped and the beds are amazingly comfortable! We made use of the barbecue and the propane outdoor fireplace. We enjoyed the front porch rocking chairs to relax. We were greeted by the owner who even checked by text to make sure we didn't need anything after 2 days. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the housekeeping cabin affiliated with Rosewood Suites and it was absolutely fantastic. It’s a cute, very clean, self contained one bedroom cabin, across the street from the main building. There was a kitchen fully supplied with dishes, cooking items, coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, and even some spices. There is a washer and dryer, which came in handy after our kayaking and hiking. Comfortable living room area. Our host came over to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed. The town itself is so cute.

This was a wonderful 1 bedroom suite in Trinity. While the outside looks like a quaint little house, the interior has been renovated and spacious ( as you can view on photos) with all modern conveniences... including USB outlets and motion activated night lights! Very well equipped and good quality furniture. Communication with owner Michele was great and we would return again

This was a great option for our weekend getaway. The property is well-kept and the owners were friendly and accommodating. Our room was in the third level loft, which was cozy and has nice views but obviously not an option for anyone who would have difficulty with stairs. However, there are ground level options available as well.
We enjoyed some quiet time relaxing on the front verandah and the back deck. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go in picturesque Trinity, including the Theatre which we visited both nights of our stay.
We would most definitely go back.

This beautiful old house has been maintained to a very high standard and the suites are kept in keeping with the decor without sacrificing comfort. Our suite had a small cooker and microwave - you couldn't cook a 3 course meal here but you can heat a tin of soup or warm a pizza. Comfy sofa, table and chairs and a nice comfy large bed in a separate room. Nice touches such as a night light in the bathroom show that the charming owners have an attention to detail.
Trinity is a lovely old town, full of history and great to walk around and soak in the atmosphere - some nice walk radiate from the town too. A few options for meals, but you might want to book to avoid disappointment.
Overall, a charming, friendly and very lovely place.
