We stayed at Campbell House for 2 nights at the end of a two week vacation to Newfoundland. It was a great way to end our trip. As we arrived too early to check in to our room, Mareke was extremely helpful in taking the time to suggest points of interest to visit in the area. Her and her mother,...

What else is there to say but WOW. We stayed one night in the bottom suite of the main house (Balbour House I think) and we wished we could stay for a month. It was beautifully appointed with original art, hardwood floors, soft linens and blankets--and a king size bed! The place was massive--much bigger than we expected. It was...

Recently had a couple of nights here and was very impressed. The setting is great and within a lovely small village atmosphere. There are a few houses close together along the side of the bay and each of the houses have a few rooms which gives you a great feeling of space. We stayed in two buildings and therefore had...

The Artisan Inn is a nice place to stay for one night. The staff are very friendly and the meals are wonderful. There is however a musty smell when you walk into the Barbour House. There is no screen on the window in the room and it was left open with the air conditioner running. There are no lotions in...

Tineke has done a wonderful job restoring several historic buildings in the centre of Trinity to create the Artisan Inn. She and her daughter Marieke made us feel very welcome - we even joined in on a trivia contest hosted by Marieke at a local spot. We stayed in Barbour Place and had a mini-fridge and coffeemaker just outside our...

Gorgeous views of Trinity Bay, charming rooms which are clean and spacious, staff engaging if a bit inefficient, this is a place for memories. They are so accommodating, they'll almost carry you up to bed. Out back, they have a deck you can sit on, and they'll bring you blankets if it's too windy and hot drinks. Please. Let me...

I had a business trip to St. John's but wanted to stay for a few more days to see more of the province. I chose Trinity and Artisan Inn and am so happy that I did. The hostess and her daughter looked after my every need, from comfortable beds in a spacious room in a renovated home (modern inside, historic...

We stayed three nights in the Artisan Inn in the lovely village of Trinity. The room was nice with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The breakfast was good and dinner was so good that we decided to eat all 3 evenings at the Artisan Inn. But best of all is the very friendly staff that really does everything to make...

My husband and I decided to thake a one night getaway and stayed at the Artisan Inn. When we checked in we were treated to a complimentary upgrade to a studio suite. It was a beautiful room that transported us back to a time gone by. The Artisan Inn is truly representative of the Trinity experience. It is such a...

My husband and I live in St. John's but decided to take a mini vacation and after reading the reviews from Trip Advisory, the Artisan Inn is where we decided to stay. Luckily for us there had been a cancellation for the nite we were looking for and the few pictures looked really nice. When we arrived, both the mother...
