We had a spacious and decent room in a building right behind the reception/restaurant, with a view of the cove albeit not right next to the water. First thing to say is that Trinity is picture-perfect, the single most attractive spot we visited in Newfoundland, and with other beautiful locations such as Old and New Bonadventure within a few minutes....

As we were travelling before the summer influx of tourists we hadn't prebooked any accommodation on our trip through Newfoundland and truly lucked out finding this place. We loved the owner and her staff, loved our rooms (had to switch as our original room was booked for the second night) with great facilities and very comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed...

We stayed 4 nights at the Artisan and while the weather was typical for early June ( more rain and fog than sunshine), we were cozy and comfortable in our room. The breakfasts were delicious, the staff very welcoming and helpful and the dinner in the restaurant was excellent.. The hike on the Skerwink Trail was a highlight and the...

We just had the most amazing stay at the Artisan Inn. The room we selected was just great (Studio with king bed). Plenty of extra towels and a warm cozy and well furnished accommodation. The owner and manager along with all the staff were so kind and helpful throughout the stay. I loved the meals we had in their restaurant,...

This amazing series of rooms and houses features excellent accommodations. The staff really think of everything (I've never seen a basket of necessities in a bathroom include earplugs - but what a great idea!). They go the extra mile and definitely make you feel welcome. The food is delicious, they have a selective wine list and the included breakfast is...

Thank you for your review. We agree with your recommendations of Rugged Beauty Boat Tour and Skerwink Trail. Rugged Beauty Boat Tour was named "the best experience on the water in Canada" by Vacay.ca this year and Skerwink is often ranked amongst the top 35 hiking trails in North America and Europe. We are fortunate to have such fantastic activities...

My Mother and I stayed here in room 9 while on tour for her 80th Birthday. This was truly the nicest place we stayed during our week in NFLD. The food is outstanding, the wine list is impressive and very well priced and the sevice from all the staff is friendly, warm and welcoming. It is a very good location...

Thank you for taking the time to tell us and others about your vacation. We so enjoyed speaking with you both in the dining room and hearing your comments on what you loved about our island. Guests like you remind us of why we love working in hospitality. Congratulations to your mother on her 80th birthday!

End to end service quality and thoughtful personalized touches by the entire hosting team from the initial reservation to check-out. Meals were a highlight for the three nights, four days. Accomodations were very comfortable, quiet and private, including outdoor decks (complete with blankets) to take in the refreshing air and exquisite views. Setting is absolutely perfect, it is the first...

We will always remember being part of your memorable day. The warm and relaxed attitude of your small party made it easy for our staff to meet your needs and expectations. Many of our guests as well as local people commented on how great it was to see you walk through the streets of wooden houses and white picket fences...

We had the BEST time here! We were taken such good care of, and our room was so beautiful. Right by the water, in a lovely little town. We couldn't have asked for more. The staff gave us information on the jems of the area which we would never have known about and are so lucky they told us about...

After several days in St John's we were looking to get away from the city. Friends recommened Trinity and the Artisan Inn in particular. From the first phone call to arrange a reservation to checking out, the staff were accommodating, friendly and provided excellent service in all areas. The meals served were world class. Our suite was cozy and comfortable...

We were visiting Newfoundland early September 2012 and ran across this slice of heaven while on our way to Bonavista.
