Seaside Suites is a 4 1/2 star waterfront accommodation in the quaint, historic seaside village of Woody Point. We are located in the heart of Gros Morne National Park with views of the Tableland Mountains, Gros Morne Mountain and the ocean waters of Bonne Bay. There is nothing more soothing and scenic as the views and sounds of the ocean. We have two buildings, across the street from each other, one over the water and one across the street from the water; the Over the Water Building (which IS over the water) is home to the Gros Morne, Tablelands and Lighthouse Suites. Our Seashell Suites as well as Seaside Souvenirs and our Seaside Deli & Dairy Bar are located directly across from the town wharf, where you can try fishing, take in the scenic views with your morning coffee, or catch the water taxi to Norris Point for an outing. We have five well appointed suites. When you settle in at Seaside Suites, you can stroll and enjoy our quaint, scenic village.

This was our first visit and first stop in Newfoundland. We couldn't have found a more charming town and accommodations. We stayed 3 nights in the over the water suites. It was spacious, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. Sheila was very pleasant and accommodating and Rachel made amazing sandwiches and was very sweet and helpful! The town was great. Only a few dining options but it served us well! The people were so friendly, we even got invited to a birthday party at the Legion our first night Gros Morne national park was great. We loved our hikes and will definitely come back as 3 nights isn't enough.

We booked into one of the two suites set right over the water, with a deck where the waves lapped underneath. The attention to detail in the suite was fantastic - comfortable bed with high quality linens, a beautiful bathroom with claw foot tub and bubble bath, well equipped kitchenette and comfortable seating. Sheila and Rachel looked after all the small details for us and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hiking in the area is fantastic and Gros Morne is one of the most spectacular destinations we have visited yet. Highly recommend!!

There are two semi detached suites. Plenty of room and well set out with small kitchen and sitting area. The suites are on the waterfront street and each suite has a small porch where we sat and sipped G+Ts while watching friendly locals and fellow tourists walk by. The suites are spotless, the staff who run the adjoining shop are super friendly and helpful. If in the area I suggest you visit the Parks Canada new Discovery Centre about 1km out of town on the road to Trout River - before you do the Tableland walk (easy). It is modern with lots of videos and explanations of the unique geology that makes up the Tableland of Western Newfoundland

We stayed from July 9-12 in the Over the Water Suites! Such a spectacular view to wake up to each morning and sit on the deck after hiking in the evening! The suite is well equipped and is as it appears in the pictures. The breakfast was always delivered to our room the evening prior which we appreciated as we are early risers.
