We recently spend a lovely weekend with Darlene and her very professional and accommodating staff, We stayed in the Sandollar Suite which was large, well appointed and very comfortable. The attention to detail; the lovely breakfasts; the well stocked kitchenette; the effort to ensure that Covid-19 cleanliness standards are met or exceeded; all made our stay a memorable and very enjoyable one. We would recommend this accommoadtion to anyone staying in the Gross Morne area and would encourage visitors to treat themselves to the beautiful community of Woody Point. Thank You!

The hotel is quite small, it overlooks Bonne Bay , it is situated on a hillside very close to the highway. (not too noisy) The room was clean and well appointed. There was a comfortable sitting area in the lobby where you can enjoy breakfast and tea in the afternoon. A great perk was the ability to be able to use the washer and dryer for no charge, There was a pub and a dining room.. we enjoyed dinners there, the food was quite good for such a tiny establishment. The staff was helpful and could not have been nicer.

This hotel is like something out of a dream. Beautifully renovated in a magical setting with lovely and refreshing decor and gorgeous local art. The staff is wonderful especially the breakfast lady! Loved the bar and the breakfast area. Lots of extra little touches like binoculars to watch the porpoises playing in the bay.

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it! The breakfast was basic but sufficient for a day exploring. The lounge is a great spot to have a drink overlooking the water. We enjoyed both dinners here as it was convenient and the food very good! It didn’t look like there were many options in woody point anyway, so staying at the inn after a day exploring was perfect.

Spent 5 days hiking Gros Morne Park, using Bonne Bay Inn as our base. Renovated room, quiet, with up-to-date fixtures and comforts. We ate at the lounge and the dining room and both menus were varied, offering several choices. Highly recommend the seafood chowder - silky and scrumptious. Darlene and her pooch-sidekick "Bergie" were a pleasure to deal with, from picnic lunches for early morning hikes, to ensuring we were comfortable and fed during Hurricane Dorion. Bartender Hugh was a gem, well-spoken on everything from the Park, to wolves in Algonquin to Irish whiskey! No hesitation to recommend any length of stay with Darlene and her staff.
