This is our first trip back to this campground in about 2 years. A new owner has bought it in the last few months and is determined to make it one of the best camping spots in the area. Washrooms have been renovated, the pool has a new liner and the whole area around it is looking new. WiFi was fairly stable where we were parked . Leveling the sites seems to be a priority. If you have any problems at all, Shane seems to be just around the corner ready to help you out. Looking forward to coming back next year just to see how far he's gotten.

I like this campground because of its spacious, wooded sites. I felt like I was actually camping here rather than parked in an RV park because our campsite had trees all behind us and some trees between us and the sites next to us. They have a nice pool but it is not heated, so it is very cold. There is a playground for the kids and a big field to play in. They do not have a recreation building to hang out in on rainy days. Overall, this is one of our favourites and we go back here every year.

Well located, close to Baddeck, Cape Breton trail. Pool could have a water heater, very cold. We had a 3 service site, very clean, quiet except traffic noise, good neighbour. Used the laundry facility, dryer doesn't dry too fast, even when its just light clothing.

We were visiting Cape Breton for Celtic Colours so had booked 10 nights and at first were not sure whether it was what we wanted but we grew to enjoy it. A log cabin with nothing fancy - living room furniture that needs updating - a tiny TV on a dish that was a bit of a pain - WiFi that came and went but maybe tht was a good thing. We were out every day by noon until late evening so we didn't miss it. The beds were great! The shower was good! Kitchen well supplied for those meals we wanted to eat there. Worked well for us at we used it as a base to travel to concerts all over Cape Breton - we could sleep in and take our time in the morning as each day was busy with events.

We stayed in one of the one bedroom cottages at Adventures East. It was a very cute and cosy cottage and included a kitchenette which was very nice. The location was relatively central for general Cape Breton activities but a bit far from Cape Breton National Park.

The local of this campground is perfect to go to the Cabot Trail. You can start and finish here. There are several shady sites for your rv to use and most are on level ground. The washrooms are spotless but you cannot us your hair dryer or electric razor in the washroom. Make sure you visit the Red Barn just down the road from the campground. The lady at the entrance is very helpful with all your needs. There is a nice size pool that was not open when we were there but it was the beginning of the season.

We parked our travel trailer here for 3 nights while we toured Cape Breton. It's the perfect place to stay as it's just minutes from the Cabot Trail. It was clean and well maintained. There are sited that are open and some that have shade. The park staff were fantastic. I would recommend this park for "Dropping your trailer" and touring Cape Breton.

Four of us stayed in one of the two-bedroom log cabins, which included bathroom, kitchenette, and living room/dining area. Very cosy and clean, and although the campground is just off the main highway, the site is well sheltered with trees, and you can hardly hear the road. We had two days to see the Cabot Trail, and the staff at the campground were very helpful when it came to planning our route and activities.

Clean campground, nicely maintained pool and washrooms. For tent sites, we found the circle was a little intimate, but not bad, just something to know before you go. We stayed here five years ago, in a different part of the park, and the location was a bit better then for tenters. We will go back, for sure, it was nice and quiet and we appreciated that.

Facilities are well maintained, clean and close by. Pool is a bonus as is no cost showers. A small campground with a mix of lot selection, treed, open, serviced or not. Free Wifi available , strength sketchy at times when load is on. Although close to the highway the noise is minimal. we were pleased enough we extended our stay a couple of times.9 km to Baddeck was a quick drive to shopping and other entities.
