We stayed there for a night on our way back from the Cabot trail. The hotel is well situated and the rooms were relatively comfortable, but that was it. The rooms weren’t ready for check-in on time. Had to wait an extra half an hour. Traveled as a family, so we made sure that

I called the Lynwood Inn directly to book a room instead of using a third party booking engine. I thought I had the wrong number because all the man said was 'hello' when he answered the phone. He was very flippant, as though he was busy doing something else. Even though it

Response from lynwoodinn, front desk at Lynwood Inn
Responded Nov. 3, 2018
Dear Jennifer, N. We apologize for any inconvienience with You/Your parents customer service experience at The Lynwood Inn. When you had called The Lynwood Inn it was after hours. As we are into our off season time. Our front desk is part time, but there is a number you can always get ahold of someone. It was explained we are into off season pricing aswell. You/your parents were asked what type of room, you/they chose balcony, Our restauraunt is closed for the season which was also explained.. There was a young lady at the front desk upon your parents arrival to help Check and settle them in. After being settled into the room your parents said that it was not warm enough, and wanted to switch rooms. The young lady turned up the heat thermostat in Their first room, they then decided they still wanted to switch rooms because of a cleaner smell. When switching rooms they asked for the second room with no balcony. We gave them an extra set of keys, for a new room at absolutly no charge. Both rooms at the price of one. They were charged for one regular room, at our off season pricing. and took our offer of two rooms for one. So Sorry again for any inconvienience this caused You/Your parents. Kristen, Front desk @ The Lynwood Inn.
