Great experience. Stayed one night. Great location right by Main Street. Room was nice. We had a room with a balcony. Very comfortable. Would stay again. Such a quaint property and town. Didn’t try the restaurant but close to lots of food options including tom’s pizza.

What a pretty spot! Well-situated for access to the Cabot Trail and within walking distance of lots of amenities in the area - grocery, restaurants, shopping and coffee shops. The room was amazing! Comfortable, clean and luxurious with the right amount of chairs, towels, coffee. The shower had great water pressure and also had a jacuzzi-type deep tub. Wonderful after a day of hiking!

Stayed in the contemporary building. The room had a really strong grandma type perfume smell I didn’t like very much. I’m not sure if they do that on purpose or not. I aired the place out by opening the window Beds are firm- we were so happy about that ! Clean and comfortable. Fridge and microwave in room as well. A/c was making alot of noise so we took the cover off and it was completely frozen -we shut it off and let it thaw out. Was frozen after about an hour of runtime. Windows can be opened. Had breakfast in the restaurant in the main building. Not good. Service was slow and kind of matter of fact. I was pretty disappointed The pancakes were very dry and hard to cut- since I know how to cook they were either pre-made and reheated on the grill or microwaved. Did not look or taste like they were made fresh. Compote on top was pretty minimal. Overpriced. Eggs were brown from being over fried (scrambled ) but was a large heap flat on the plate. Ate maybe half of each meal out of necessity and will look elsewhere for the next meal.…

The rooms are updated and super clean. Roomy, great bathroom. Good size overall. Superb location minutes walk from downtown. The restaurant is pretty nice with decent food and atmosphere. Service seems to be excellent throughout. Would stay here again.

The beds were comfy and jetted tub a great touch. But most of all the Andrew the owner, who was also chef, cleaned out room on his hands and knees plus the rug when one of our party was sick all night. Then his sister Ally did our laundry twice as it still smelled after one cycle in the wash. She also folded it and bagged it and deleivered to our room. Plus they provided broth and bread for supper and refused, to charge us for it. This is why it it worth to stay at a family owned and managed hotel rather than a chain. We were very impressed.

I've had lots of Haddock dinners, but never as great as this experience. The haddock was cooked perfectly and still moist, not dry like some overcook it. The variety of roasted vegetables was absolutely delicious, the roasted potatoes perfect as well. Then the plate was decorated with a couple of special add on that were delicious and had a professional look. Kudos to the chef. This is the one time I wish I had taken a picture, not something I usually do.

Friendly staff settled us without delay to a great comfortable room, we had our 1st lobster dinner and it was great. The owner assisted us with parking the truck & trailer and had our table reserved. This is great service we didn't expect. across the street to Celtic music hall and right on main street make Lynwood Inn the best place to stay.

Came across the Lynwood Inn Restaurant when visiting Baddeck on holiday recently. It’s a lovely restaurant, open to non residents with amazing food, excellent service and occasional entertainment . I would certainly recommend visiting.

Nice room, good view, well appointed. Had an accessible room, nice when older. Staff very friendly. We ate in the dining room a couple of times. Good food, friendly servers. Like many places were short staffed, but those that were there worked extra hard. Nice location, walking distance to several restaurants.

The location is great — central to everything in Baddeck. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the front desk staff were very helpful. We had dinner on the deck at the restaurant and really enjoyed the food. We would definitely stay here again on another visit to the area.
