Rooms are nice and beds very comfortable …lovely property..but that was it for us. During off season the managers are not on site so any issues you have to call them and wait till they arrive. TV cable never worked right the entire three night stay…poor pictures or no channels at all. Internet quit entirely one day…again had to wait till they came and rest everything. Hot water was an ordeal. You had to run the bathtub about 5 minutes to get hot water so it would then flow in the sink just to wash your hands.Lines always cold and needed to clear. Bathroom had no heat so tile floor was ice cold ..as was the toilet seat if you sat!..a few light bulbs also out and not replaced. This is likely a totally different hotel at peak season but other than a regular room with a great bed..that’s it for April..

Had a great stay at a nice room with king bed and lounge. Room was very clean as was the bathroom, however the bathroom floor needs an update with cracked tiles. Had a great breakfast in the am, and staff were friendly.

The room was very nice and spacioous but we couldn't figure out how to use the in room fireplace. The AC didn't seem to work either but this may have been operator error too. The room was clean except for a very long black hair in the shower. The staff were all very nice and our overall experience was good. We would stay here again.

Our room was good and bed very comfortable. We did have a problem with the internet staying up and that was very frustrating. We stayed for 4 nights and we did enjoy having a hot breakfast but a little variety would have been nice.

Lodgings were decent. I could feel something under the bedsheet so I checked it out and it was a large toenail. Dinner was so-so. Breakfast was average. I was hoping for east coast fare, not samosa's or butter chicken. Staff was super friendly.

Bathroom outdated. Crack in the sink. Found toe nails under the sheet. Don't use the coffee in the room. The food in the restaurant needs to be a maritime type of food. That's what the traveller's look for. Bruchetta is not great. The best part is ICE

The room was large and clean, nothing fancy. Location is good. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was included with room and was buffet style and decent. The only issue was trying to find parking, not a lot of parking available when the restaurant is busy.

Stayed here for a number of days and found the room pleasant but somewhat dated. Bedroom has been updated but the bathroom from the 40 year old tile on the walls to the rusted baseboard heater turned us off. Perhaps the hotel is in stages of updating but total renovation room by room would be more appropriate, than pieces here and there. We stayed in the Hilltop units and the view from our window was nice. A/C unit looks like it is 40 years old and fireplace didn't fire up even when following instructions. Maid service was very good. TV only accessible if laying on the bed and very few outlets that were available when all the lamps etc. are plugged in. We are in an electronic age here people so perhaps you could at least put in some multi plugs and USB ports. Other than that we had a pleasant stay and staff were very accommodating.

Wife and I spent a night at this location while touring the Cabot Trail. We had room 407, king bed with propane fire place, fridge, coffee maker, robes and slippers. Lovely room, very comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely friendly, the property is very well maintained and looks out over the Bras Dor lake, located within walking distance of the Main Street. After spending a day of hiking and driving, we decided to relax and eat at the inn rather than going out, the food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, staff were very friendly. The Saturday that we stayed here also happened to be our anniversary and we could not have been more pleased. Continental breakfast is also included in your stay, cereal, boiled eggs, pastries, etc.. nice touch before heading out.

We weren’t staying at the Inn but came for dinner and were blown away. We ordered the smoked salmon and couldn’t believe the portion size for the price. The whipped horseradish was also a unique touch. We smelled the fettuccine Alfredo being delivered to another table and had to have it. Quite possibly the best Alfredo I have ever had, and the lobster addition is worth it. The fish tacos were a unique combination, feta and jalapeño but also among the best I’ve had. This is definitely a must go to for seafood lovers, the prices are totally reasonable and the portions are more than worth it. The server we had was also super friendly and helpful, I wish I could remember her name. She suggested a lot of things for us to do in the area that were very tailored to what we were interested in.
