Amazing stay We were originally booked for 1 night, but ended up booking an additional night. The cottage is located at the start of Cabot Trail counter clockwise. Our room is merely 15 ft from the water and is very clean and also has everything we need, fridge with a freezer, kettle and microwave plus everything we need to have a hot drink. The owners are fantastic, very friendly and helpful and delivered excellent customer service. Tina provided a lot of useful information and also provided the Cabot Trail map to us. The location is perfect as it is right on the Cabot Trail. It is also a great location to catch sunset and sunrise. The location is very quiet and tranquil even though it is close to the main road. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our overnight here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous view and great location. The room was clean, beds comfie and it was great to find a place that allowed our labrador (most places seem to only allow small dogs)

We arrived with our two dogs and, unfortunately, the owner hadn’t received this information with our booking but he was fabulous and sorted us a room to accommodate our woofers. Our little motel room was lovely with all the mod cons; microwave, coffee machine with everything required to make a beverage and fridge ! Absolutely fantastic views from the room too. You’re on the main TCH but we had our windows open and didn’t notice it at all. I cannot rate this smashing little motel high enough and I sincerely hope that the owners are proud of their little slice of heaven. Our only regret is that we should have booked this little gem for several nights instead of just the one - it is central to The Cabot Trail and, in our case, about 20 minutes from the ferry for Newfoundland. Loved it and we definitely be back ❤️

My wife and I (and our dog) spent two nights at this beautiful property on our way to driving and hiking the Cabot Trail. The owners of the motel, Tina and Vince, met us when we arrived and graciously spent time with us providing us with much valuable information regarding places to visit and possible dining choices. They could not have been more helpful during our stay. The room was clean, tastefully decorated and quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room had all the normal amenities and certain extras not usually seen in chain motels, such as a toaster and tea pot. The wifi reception was excellent. The location of the motel sets it apart from other places to stay. The view from the room overlooking the water a few feet from the back of the motel was incredible. There was plenty of green space by the water which our pooch enjoyed. There are bbq grills available for use which we took advantage of. For the value, you can't do any better. If you are ever in the area or looking to travel the Cabot Trail this is definitely the place to stay.

What a great place and room with a view. Clean and comfortable. Tina and Vince were very accommodating .We returned to our rooms one night around 8:00pm. Good night for a fire. Texted Vince and asked if he could get us some firewood. He texted me back in minutes and said he will start a fire for us in 10 minutes. Yes we had a fire on a beautiful night. Thank you Tina and Vince.

We stayed here in order to visit the Cabot Trail. I wish I would have booked two nights. This is a cute cute cute little motel. The rooms were super clean and tastefully decorated. The view of the water is breathtaking after a very short walk to the beach. The owner, Vince was managing on his own, and he had a fabulous sense of humour. The grounds are very clean and the restaurant next door made this a good choice for dinner. We'd stay here again.

Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely place right by the water with low windows and seating to make most of the view from the room. Plenty of tea and coffee. Parts of the room were a bit dusty and there was a slight smell of damp but we were there late may before the season got going.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying here in early October and will definitely remember them if we need to stay in the area again! Neat and clean rooms with a view that you would pay big bucks for anywhere else! The owners are a rare breed…kind and extremely helpful! Anything you could ask for they tried to accommodate!

I was pleased to meet the couple who own it, very sweet people even though I didn't get to stay there cause I fudged up my booking, I accidentally booked on the wrong weekend ( second time I've done this grrr on me lol) But they made sure we knew all the good places to go along our trip and sent us to a place to stay cause they had no rooms available at the time. Can't wait to go back and actually stay there this time. and such a beautiful location.
