This was our one and only overnight stop on our drive around the Cabot Trail, and I am so glad it was! We had a fantastic stay; my only problem was that we were only staying for one night. The hosts were kind and knowledgeable...More

We stayed here last July and it was a beautiful home in a beautiful area. Finding dinner was our only problem. We were told there were a number of places within 5-10 minutes. Every one of them was closed, some for the day (only lunch hours) and some were just shut down completely. We went to a nearby "resort" that had a restaurant, the dining room was all but empty (maybe 5 customers) but they were extremely rude to us because we didn't make a reservation. We left. We ended up having to eat dinner at the local gas station that had a food fryer, not awful but not what we wanted or expected. I would suggest bringing sandwiches or something with you to eat for dinner before you get into the area.

"Be sure to eat breakfast as it is included in the room rate and very good!"
