Loved our stay at Archie and Isidore’s boutique hotel. First great thing was sitting on front porch Adirondack chairs with our drinks watching the local fishing pier activity. We could walk to everything! The bed was so comfy and really enjoyed the special touches like Nespresso coffee, quality linens, comfy bed and beautiful wallpaper from Golding. True art because I don’t usually like wallpaper! Everything was very smooth for check in and check out. Our host were extremely kind! Totally recommend for couples! Also recommend a dinner at L’Abri within walking distance. Amazing cocktails made by Blaine!

Excellent eclectic rooms. We stayed in #1. Accessible with a ramp from outside and a very large washroom with a large soaker tub. Small fridge in room, kettle, coffee maker and snacks are available for purchase as well as a few drinks. There is a small gym and sitting room. The views are breathtaking. We enjoyed meals at Le Gabriel with live entertainment every night from 6-8 p.m.

My husband and I LOVED our stay at the Archie & Isidore Hotel! The room was so cozy and pristinely clean. We were blown away by the amenities and little details from the fluffiest towels to the Nespresso machines in each room and local recommendations provided at check in. They thought of everything. It was such a treat to come back to the comforts that awaited us after a long day of hiking and exploring Cape Breton. We’ll be back!

We stayed at the Archie & Isidore Hotel Suite #7 for two nights. It is located in the beautiful Chéticamp area, right along the Cabot Trail, and a short ~20min drive to the famous Skyline Trail. Our room was spotless and complete with all the essentials one needs as well as extra thoughtful details such as; a Nespresso coffee machine & pods, chocolate treats, and plush robes for each guest. The bathroom was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and plenty of fresh towels. There was also a TV, microwave, and a mini-fridge stocked with soft drinks and bottled water. The bed sheets were incredibly soft and comfortable. You will not regret booking at the Archie & Isidore!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Our room was exactly as pictured and came with more amenities than we were expecting. There was soap, shampoo, condotioner and lotion available in our room, snacks and beverages for us to use and pillows that were superior to any other we experienced on our trip! The hotel is close to some great places to eat, even just a walk down the road. The cutest touch were the postcards available at the front door, where we could send a post card home to our family.

This hotel is not like the regular motel and the smell of moth balls usually found in smaller areas (no disrespect to other establishments intended!). It is a beautifully curated 60e mod-style rooms. Almost ‘kitsche’ in the best way possible. The host is very accommodating and they have thought of every little detail. If you want a more quality, upscale and dare I say it, ‘instagrammable’ room complete with original 60s teak furniture and a beautiful buffet of snacks (available for purchase) i highly recommend this hotel. We will stay again and for a longer time. It really is an experience. Run don’t walk!

Beautiful boutique hotel in Cheticamp. It’s very clean and has character but the room is very tiny for the price. The hosts are very nice and check in via text and are available for anything you need but don’t bug you at all during your stay. I like the self check in and the clean and cozy atmosphere in the suite inside the heritage home. There is a bar with snacks, drinks and oatmeal to purchase in the room. I’d definitely stay again if I come back to explore beautiful Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Lovely, clean room with comfortable bed and great amenities. We stayed in Suite 8, and that was located in a separate building next to the main hotel building, and we had access to our own hot tub, which was wonderful to use after spending the day hiking. The hotel is fully self-check-in, but the hosts are very responsive to any questions or concerns when texted. If you are planning to visit the Cheticamp area, we definitely recommend staying at this boutique accommodation!

Great little place. These guys really understand the meaning of hospitality. The Inn is an old house completely redone to maximize the footprint of the space without ruining the integrity of the house's history. So, while our room was small, we couldn't have cared less because every inch was well planned out and designed to the hilt. But it was the little things.. free coffee, free drinks, and breakfast treats such as yogurt and granola bars, a hot tub under the stars for private individual use by guests, free mailing of postcards, a lounge area and great little gym with a view of the ocean. The inn was located right across from the ocean and within walking distance of several restaurants. It was self checkin/out and was such a comfortable stay we ended up just staying an extra night when the weather turned bad. These Inn owners could really teach a lesson on hospitality to the big chains. What a great stay!

Room Tip: Book the hot tub for after a long hike and make a reservation at L'abri. Best food near the Inn.

We had a lovely time staying at Archie and Isidore hotel in Cheticamp right by the water. The interior decor of the room was beautiful, beds extremely comfortable and we appreciated how spacious the room was. 10/10 recommend.
