We were in Chalet 7. Beautiful Chalet, very clean. Beautiful view. The bed was really comfy! We were checked in by a very nice young lady (whose name now escapes me). We were initially super impressed but quickly became less impressed. The last guest wore extremely strong perfume and it permeated the chalet. I should have contacted the desk for a different chalet I suppose, but they do not advertise as a scent free facility. My error. We opened the windows and went for a walk to the quaint little beach. My only actual complaint is this...the hand soap provided in the washroom was cheap commercial fluorescent -pink liquid soap in a broken no-name bottle. For the price of a night here I expected much nicer toiletries than that.

We stayed here Aug 16-18,2020 First time at this property. We had a Deluxe One Bedroom Suite (number 10). Perfect view of the ocean to watch the sunset. You can also see the Cabot Trail from here as well. The cottage is very spacious. Full kitchen. But we planned on bbqing for the three nights here. ( though we did take things with us -paper towel, Saran Wrap, foil, all our food for three days) but the cottage was stocked with pots/pans, dishes and cutlery. Big bathroom. Has a whirl pool tub and also a stand up shower. Outdoor chairs to sit outside as there is no balcony. We are on the ground floor, so people above you. Very clean. Excellent views. Would return again( to a cottage with the ocean view).

We spent ten days there and the water came out like chocolate milk, and when I told them about it she stated that each time it rained this would happen and I told them that they have a problem with their well and needs fixing. Couldn’t shower, wash dishes, or clean up. I said this is dangerous and someone is going to get sick from their water supply. This happened four times and once the water came out green for the entire day. When I would call the office they would not pickup the phone. Also all the window cranks were removed except one. We will not be back again and would not recommend them to anyone!!!

This was the most expensive of 5-2 bedroom cottages we stayed in on this trip. It was good, but not the best. Weird notices seemed to indicate that the owner was paranoid of problems or had had problems in the past ("no gatherings, no scratching floors, fines for smoking, etc.). It was spacious with anice wood stove, but only two sticks of wood. Called front desk, though, the girls in the office brought us a biga__ box of wood up. We were able to get some videos to watch for the very rainy night, also brought up by the office girls. Only two wine glasses for a four person rental is just plain dumb, but we called down and the girls in the office rocketed up with two more There are no coat hooks in the cottages. Soaps are all from dispensers and appeared diluted./basement, but nobody was in the one under us. Views of the ocean are fantastic. With a few more amenities and normal stuff one expects, these cottages would be much more enjoyable.
