Was late in the year but we and another couple made the trip to Cheticamp for the snow crab. The motel has undergone MANY expansions but we had booked early and were in the Homestead section. The facility itself is a little dated but the room was very clean and IMO had THE most comfortable beds in any hotel/motel EVER....

We booked Laurie's motor Inn a few days in advance as the weather was good at this time. Hotel is a bit old but clean and very handy to the restaurants in town. A buffet breakfast is included and was very good. There is laundry facility available if needed.

Nice rooms but took hours to warm up. Cindy at front desk cranky and not helpful. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Limited TV stations. Terrific beds. Lighting is questionable as one light switch controls the bathroom and the hallway (which disturbs those sleeping) Kerry, the chef at the restaurant, is wonderful and the food tasty.

Given key to Room 28 which was on first floor. The steps up to the first floor were very steep and carrying two cases up on arrival was quite exhausting. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The view from the verandah outside our room was excellent. The buffet breakfast was in the restaurant building and there was...

Storm drove us out of our cabin, we spent the night at Lauries. Clean room, clean bathroom, nice music with Sylvia and a good tv to watch the ball game! Plus an excellent breakfast! Would recommend to anyone.

Being probably the largest motel/hotel in Cheticamp the place is ok for one night. Lauries also offers a restaurant where they serve reasonably priced meals and their free buffet breakfast which is included in the room rate. In my opinion the free breakfast was the best deal of our stay at this place. The rooms are relatively spacious but the...

We booked this place as we were unable to find two rooms for one night at any other spot in Cheticamp. This motor Inn is quite dated and could use a facelift, and in our mind it is overpriced. Also, we were a big shakey getting our bags up the 21 steep stairs to the second floor. The buffet breakfast...

We had one of the king harbour view (upstairs) rooms in the Harbourfront building. The assigned parking for some of these rooms is behind the building, with access by rather long, somewhat worn-looking flights of stairs up the ends of the building. I'd recommend loading and unloading from the harbour side of the building if you have any substantial luggage....

55 room hotel that is very popular with bus tours. Rooms are dated and worn. For an individual booking it seemed overpriced - maybe the tour groups get a better rate. Best piece of advice we could offer is make sure you have accommodation well in advance. Buffet breakfast scored the best!!

The room was large and clean. Very dated. Did not like the smell in the lobby. Glad we could walk out the back stairs. Dinner was ok. Slow but courteous. Breakfast buffet was better. Enjoyed the upstairs entertainment by the local Acadian singer. She was great. Liked our view from the balcony.
