We spent a few days in Cape Breton at the beginning of November. Most rental accommodation in the area closes by the end of October, so we were glad to be able to book two nights at this lovely inn. At our first dinner, there was one other gentleman in the room. The next morning, we took breakfast alone. We...

Warm friendly Inn with lovely staff. Avalon restaurant on site does fusion food as a speciality. The seafood chowder is wonderful, but then so is the Teriyaki Salmon and the seafood taster.. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. It's up a bit from a motel, catering for the hikers who want a bit of luxury when exploring the park....

We booked this hotel in Ingonish, via Expedia, for the first night of our 3 night/4 day road trip mid September. It was the most expensive of our 3 nights @ $222 for the night. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the location, the property, the views and the room. We arrived early evening. Check-in was fairly quick, and...

If and only you want to pay for location then you can choose this hotel. Wifi was bad and not working. I paid for a Lake view room only to find out they gave that to someone else. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and staff were friendly.

Located on the slop of smokey mountain and overlooking the south bay of Ingonish Beach it could be an excellent place to stay - if there were not many small things adding up to lower our rating: broken items, lack of personal ... .

This Inn was a great place to stay right on the Cabot Trail. After a long day of driving it was wonderful to be able to eat at the inn's restaurant and not have to drive further to find a place to eat. The food was excellent and the view's were awesome! Although I was told that feathers were removed...

The ocean views, the memorable dinners, the comfortable accommodations, and, of course, the attentive staff...it was all worth the effort. The drive up from Halifax to Cape Breton was full of breath-taking views and the stops in between - especially lunch in Baddeck - made for a great day. My only cautions (which might seem trivial but were important to...

Rooms are small but comfortable. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. The grounds were beautiful and we walked around in the evening and sat outside for awhile. Breakfast was good. My kids loved the yogurt with all different toppings to add. We ate outside on the deck which was a bit hard getting out because of the...

At checkin we were greeted warmly and there were baked goods on the counter (always a bonus) Our room was cosy, with an excellent bed, and the Inn itself had an ambiance of a classic older home, even though it was not that old. The staff was attentive, and we enjoyed an excellent dinner, with an amazing view. The breakfast...
