We stayed here in the last couple of days. We slepted in # 8 which is shared building with another couple rentals. During the night we could hear foot steps next door and some banging around, but overall was pretty good. Beds were comfy, cabin was cozy and had pretty much everything we needed. We will be back, but most than likely will be staying in a detached cottage.

I love this place. I booked a cabin and it’s so cozy. The facility is super clean. The deck looking into the water provides amazing view. The staff at the reception is super friendly and nice. This is an awesome way to end my 3.5 months bike trip. I would highly recommend.

When we booked our "cottage" - 2 nights for nearly $600 - we expected just that - a COTTAGE. From the website it looks like you're going to get your own little private building. And that's all we wanted - nothing special, but paying the extra $ to not be in a motel possibly dealing with loud rowdy people partying it up in the room next door. I fully expected to have neighbors very close by in the other "cottages" - but that'd be ok because they're not in the same building. But what they don't tell you on the website - what I find very misleading - is that the "cottages" are actually 2 stories. You either get upstairs or downstairs - meaning you're at the mercy of whoever booked the other half in terms of noise! The first night we were here, our downstairs housemates were loud, but tolerable. The new guests the second night, however, are still partying full-tilt as I write this at 1AM. I know, because it's all I can hear. We're getting up early in the morning to do another round of hiking in the Highlands with our kids, and it's going to be hell because I've already had to deal with the kids being woken up several times. Unless you're looking for a place to party, I'd stay well away from this place. I really hate to have to say that as the staff have been really nice when we've seen them - but as the office is closed overnight, there isn't even someone around to ask about dealing with the noise.

Room 8 has the best view from the balcony. Lovely table, chairs, and bbq on the balcony. Lovely kitchenette with large fridge, dishes, pots and pans, and microwave. TV in livingroom and fans in bedrooms. Air conditioner in living room. Cute little rocky beach to walk down to. Only bad thing is that breakfast is not included and there's no dining room available. Quite a few restaurants in Ingonish though. Another bad thing is that it's quite expensive to stay here. But the balcony makes up for it.

It was a clean, beautiful room. Tips -need a blanket in the room, information in the room on restaurants , stores in the area, information on the television, remote and a few dishes. Beautiful view from the suites. Enjoyed our overnight stay.
