We stayed in a motel room. The room had a strong unidentified smell that we were not able to get rid of eve when we aired the room for hours. The temp. in the room was 28C when we checked in and we barely managed to get in down to 25 by the morning with all the windows open. The view from the room is great but this was a sleepover stop so we did not take advantage of it. It got dark early and everything around closed early so no places to get real dinner.
Spacious 2 bedroom cottage with TV, electric heat and AC. Stayed 3 nights with friends. Nice view of the water. Ranch style so deck is covered but can’t use in the rain as water seemingly just runs right through the part of the roof that overhangs the deck so if you like sitting outside during the rain forget that. Also, if you like sitting on the deck in the sun in the morning while enjoying a coffee forget that too as the cabin doesn’t face the rising sun!! Minor issues. Cabin wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Silverware had dried food on it, cupboards had crumbs in them (lots) and a nice leak under the sink so my wife spent the first evening washing dishes, wiping out cupboards and cleaning up water. The rest of the place was pretty good. Noisiest bathroom fan on the planet . 🤣 Nice restaurants and shops nearby. No campfires allowed. Overall not a bad place to stay but likely won’t again.…
We stayed in one of the cottages. Very clean and had everything we needed. View was excellent ( we stayed in 7) Water pressure was low and quickly fixed when we asked housekeeping about it. Will be back. Thanks for a great stay.
We spent a day on the Cabot Trail and were in need of a place to stay. This place was central and we had no problem booking a cottage. The cottage is quite dated but clean. The bed was comfortable. Being October , the air was chilled and darkness came quickly. We would have liked to sit outside as the view across the road looked lovely.
Has basic necessities. Could use modernizing. Close to where I needed to be. On scenic Cabot Trail. Proce was reasonable. Ok motel on the trail. Has good wifi and cable. I would stay here again. Close to beaches and great hiking trails.
