My husband and I stayed at the Midtown in October after visiting the Fortress at Louisburg. The hotel itself was clean, the rooms large, and the facilities satisfactory, but we were quite disappointed overall. The internet did not work in our room, nor in any of the rooms nearby. It appears as though this is something that happens often. Internet...

My husband and teenage son stayed two nights at the Midtown cottages to visit the Louisburgh fortress. The cottages, situated downtown, have a nice view of the water and are about a 5 to 10 minutes drive to the fortress. We found the place very clean and spacious enough for the three of us. The bed in the second bedroom was...

We stayed 3 nights and were very happy with the accommodations. There was plenty of room with 2 bedrooms and a sitting/dining room/kitchen. Everything was very clean and in good repair except the stove. It worked fine but made a noise so we unplugged it when not in use. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The service...

We spent two days in town visiting the fortress and found the Midtown Cottages good value. The wi-fi was extremely poor, though, so don't go thinking you can use it endlessly. But it was extremely clean and the staff very friendly. They could use some nicer pillows, however.

We got the last cabin and were very pleased when we went in. Clean and adorable and felt like home. We have been travelling for a week and have another week to go and this felt very homey. We will recommend this little place to our future travellors.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights with another couple for a wet and foggy walking weekend. Our cottage had 2 bedrooms, a good sized lounge with small kitchen connected and a good sized bathroom with full bath. Our cottage was well appointed with appliances and cleaning supplies and clean when we arrived. We flipped for rooms and won the...

We stayed in a two-bedroom unit with another couple. The living/dining/kitchen area had a sofabed, armchair, TV, small table, oval dining table and four chairs. Kitchen equipment consisted of a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and assorted dishes and cooking and eating utensils. The two small bedrooms had fans. One had a queen bed, chest and closet, the other, which...

It's located on main street and we got a last room looking on a main street, but nevertheless it a good hotel with much better value then others in the area which we take a peek before we decise for this one. Two king size beds is more then enough for 3 members of our family.
