Staycation time in Nova Scotia! We visited Guysborough July 17, 2020 and stayed at this lovely B&B. The Loft room was recommended when we booked and what a great recommendation. The Loft is a very roomy and comfortable room where we had a great sleep. Breakfast was Hash Brown Quiche which was super delicious. Elaine is an excellent host who was very friendly and engaging while also respecting our space. At the time of booking, she also made sure we were aware of the limited eating spots due to the pandemic which we appreciated. She takes great care of her guests!
Although we have lived in Nova Scotia for over 40 years we had never visited Guysborough and Canso. We stayed at the Pepperlane Manor B&B for one night on our way through and we were thoroughly delighted. The stately manor has been completely renovated yet still retains its original charm. The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms spotless and the breakfast was delicious. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival and were made to feel at home throughout this short stay. We recommend the Pepperlane Manor B&B. It is worth making the trip to beautiful Guysborough and staying at this gem on the eastern shore.
We stayed here 1 night while travelling through N.S. The whole house has been rebuilt for the b&b and our loft/room was spacious & beautiful. Elaine was a wonderful host and prepared a delicious, and large, breakfast. She sat and talked with us while we ate and gave told us lots of interesting info on the area. We loved staying here and highly recommend.
We stayed at Pepperlane while on a three person business trip. Our rooms were great, breakfast yummy (Elaine easily accommodated vegetarian and gluten-free requests) and the upstairs lounge let us some work done. WiFi was fast and reliable. This was only my second time in Guysborough, and I hope to have more time next trip to explore the beaches and parks. What I saw was beautiful!
