Super clean, super friendly, super cute rooms, host goes out of her way to make you comfortable but knows when you need your privacy, and the best, every room has a private bath! That is not always the case for a B&B, making a stay there totally private, like a hotel, but totally like home, just like a well moved...

These are the easiest reviews to write. Wendy, the hostess (and next-door gallery owner/painter) is exemplary in every respect, the rooms are well-appointed in an old-fashioned style, the bathrooms are large and have amenities you don't expect from an older-style place (including jet tubs), the breakfast includes homemade goods baked that morning, and there is a comfortable living room for...

My wife and I arrived in Mahone Bay without reservations to stay. The very helpful staff at the Mug & Anchor Pub put us in touch with Wendy the owner of the Amber Rose Inn. A 2 min. drive and we were there. Beautiful old building, immaculately maintained. We stayed in the last available room. Before retiring we enjoyed drinks...

Magnificent old house - 5000 sq. ft.. Well maintained with exceptionally large rooms, air conditioning and large ensuite bathrooms with mini fridge's and coffee makers. Wendy is a gracious hostess. Free Wi-Fi and off street parking. Breakfast includes home baked breads and pastries. A hot breakfast option would be a welcome addition to the menu.

We stayed at the Amber Rose for two nights. We highly recommend this B&B. Wendy and George were extremely friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Breakfast was delicious and we had wonderful conversations. The room was very clean and comfortable. The Amber Rose is in an excellent location for travelling to nearby towns. - Diane and Alysha, London ON

We had a great time visiting with Wendy and George. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding sites south of Halifax. There is a lot of love here and it shows. Wendy is a great host and helped be our information specialist on the local "things to do and see". Maybe while you are there, George will show you...

My friends and I had cycled to Mahone Bay, the trail is very close to the Amber Rose. We arrived very weary not wanting to take another step. Wendy our host went out of her way to help us get dinner at the Inn. She went to get menus and picked up our order. She set the table in the...

Built in the late 1800's, Amber Rose Inn has been lovingly restored and expanded by the present owners, Wendy and George. While retaining its period charm, they have added all modern conveniences including wifi, air conditioning and television. There are three guest rooms on the second floor of the main house and a loft apartment over a newly built garage...

We visited the Mahone Bay during its annual Scarecrow Festival, and stayed at the Amber Rose Inn for one night. Its location is not too far from the town center, yet it's very quiet despite there were quite a few tourists in town. All rooms are beautifully decorated by the hostess Wendy, who is very warm and helpful. She suggested...

We enjoyed 2 nights in tbis lovely Inn just beyond the centre of Mahone Bay. Wendy has created a cozy, homey atmosphere with her artistic decorating. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Lovely gardens surround the veranda and offer a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine to round off a day. We would definitely...
