Excellent stay! The owners are lovely, the room was spotless (the bath in the claw foot tub was awesome), breakfast was fantastic, the grounds and public areas well kept and because the owners own a local Bistro in town - they also gave a coupon for a free dessert if you dined there. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

The bedroom was very comfortable, quiet and pretty. The breakfast was healthy and filling and full of home made goodies. And the hosts were helpful, welcoming and friendly! The location is ideal for getting to know Parrsboro by foot. We would highly recommend.

Very much enjoyed my stay at The Gillespie House Inn, I felt very at home here and could walk to everything in this beautiful Bayside community. The owners are amazing, and everything exceeded my exceptions. Would recommend this B&B every time.

Refurbished B+B, clean, big bathroom with both shower and claw foot tub. Friendly owner very familiar with the community. This is a small town on the ocean a with 45 foot tidal bore. My husband and I would be happy to return to this nice B+B.

I have never stayed in a B and B that exceeded my expectations as much as the Gillespie House Inn. Your first impression of the Inn as you drive onto the beautifully landscaped grounds sets the stage for what is to follow when you enter the house. The inn is exquisitely decorated from top to bottom. The downstairs features two...

We selected Gillespie House mainly because of its location in Parrsboro, central to our planned week day-hiking along the north shore of Minas Basin, and because of a recommendation from a fellow hiker. We were so pleased with the choice that, after staying once for a night whilst we checked out the local trails, we were more than happy to...

We were greeted by the owner the afternoon we arrived. We were quickly checked in and shown to our room upstairs. She gave us a tour of the inn. She was able to recommend restaurants in town for dinner. Our room was facing the street, and it was obvious they took the time to ensure that the room would be...

We stayed only one night at Gillespie House Inn, but if there were more reasons to visit Parrsboro, we would gladly have stayed longer at the inn. The house is beautifully furnished and the breakfast was excellent. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and if you like dogs, they have two lovely dogs, and if you don't care for...

This historic inn was very comfortable, elegant, warm and welcoming. The decor while fitting the period of the home was at the same time comfortable and inviting. Our room with a double and single bed was spacious enough, and it was extremely clean and well kept. The history of the home was very interesting to read about, and the wifi...
