GOOD - Host was friendly and helpful. - Breakfast was light and good. COULD BE BETTER - No bathroom or fridge in our room. - Using one pillow for sleeping wasn't enough, but two pillows was too many. - Aspects of 'current cultural climate', so not a great fit for us.

Centrally located, huge historic house with exceptional hospitality and gourmet breakfast. The suite was warm and the beds were comfortable. We did not appreciate the company of flies in our suite (which is a common problem with historic places). Of note, there was a large intersectional pride flag on the front of the property.

Don't give it a second thought!!! This was the nicest bed and breakfast I've stayed at in Nova Scotia and I've stayed at several I consider 5 star. The Hosts are so friendly and our stay was comfortable and spotless clean. We had full use of the inn not just the room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious 😋 Its a must!

We‘ve had a wonderful stay in this exceptional inn! The owners pay incredible attention to detail. Every room has it‘s own character and design. Breakfast was a delight. There‘s a fireplace on the ground floor, creating a nice atmosphere for discussions, a quiet moment or for playing games.

We loved our stay at the wonderful Maple Inn. The history of this magnificent Victorian mansion is shared in so many lovely ways. Felt like going back in time (but with all of today’s modern conveniences tucked in) The welcome of owners and staff was warm and attentive. Our room was spotless, had very comfortable beds and pillows, fresh air with windows that open when wanted as well as a little fireplace to take away chill on a cool evening. There are comfortable sitting areas both inside and out that are just so lovely. And finally - the outstanding breakfast that comes with your nights stay - homemade, locally sourced and delicious!! I can’t recommend the Maple Inn enough if you want to feel pampered in a place that is both grand and cozy and makes you feel oh so welcome!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Maple Inn in Parrsboro. Paul and MacKenzie are warm and welcoming hosts and Paul's three course gourmet breakfasts were simply amazing and proved to be a great start to each morning during our two night stay. The entire property was clean and immaculate. Highly recommend room 7, the Tupper/Canning suite if you are looking forward to a little extra space on the first floor with a nice, private patio.
