I stayed in the Maple Inn for 2 nights during a work trip to the area and had a great experience. The location is in walking distance of many local amenities, and a quick drive to many more (including the many museums, hikes and beaches in the area). The public rooms and the room I stayed in were clean, cozy and pleasant to spend time in (with strong wi-fi everywhere, something that matters when you're on a work trip). I'm a chatty person, particularly when traveling alone, but I also like to have a bit of space when I travel and I felt the owners hit the perfect note, happy to chat and available when needed, but also respectful of my peace. It can be a hard balance but they've mastered it. As others have mentioned the food could not be beat. The breakfasts I had were amazing, fun takes on old favourites (don't worry not too fun!) and my impression is they do their best to source as much as they can locally or grow things in their garden. I was also glad to see that all appropriate covid-19 protocols were followed and they are clearly doing everything they can to keep staff and guests safe. Sad to have to mention it, but glad to give a good report. One final note, the owners are new and still learning, but at this rate I'll be very excited to see how things get even better.

Had a great night at the Maple Inn. This charming inn has a unique history as it used to be the town’s hospital. The host, Paul and his son Wilson greeted us and helped carry our luggage up to our room. A delicious homemade cookie waited for us in our room. The rooms are all clean, comfortable and have everything you need for your stay. The 3 course breakfast served was amazing. The location is close to the downtown. Overall a great experience

This is an absolutely gorgeous and interesting country inn that has an amazing history, including that of its owners. The inn is tastefully and exquisitely built and decorated, and carefully and pristinely maintained and run. Each room is a different gem, more impressive than the next one. To top it all off, the breakfast is most delicious and healthy, everything home made and fresh. Maple Inn is a place that we plan to go back to enjoy the inn, the delightful conversations with the owners, as well as the natural beauty and geological wonders of Parrsboro.

This year has proven to be a staycation year and has been a reminder to take the time to visit our home province. The Maple Inn is elegance, equisite and steeped in history. The rooms are beautifully decorated and maintained at a high level. We stayed with friends, us in the Delivery Room and our friends in the Empire Room. What a beautiful place to stay. Highest of standards and an absolutely delicious breakfast.
