I stayed at the Maple Inn with my two kids and it was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were great and the breakfast very tasty. A must stay if you are travelling in that part of Nova Scotia!
This is an awesome place to stay! We only had one night here as we were touring around Nova Scotia but would have stayed more given the chance. The new owners took over in 2020 and have gone to town to offer a unique experience. The three-course breakfast is yummy and stylish, as usual, there is tea and coffee 24/7 in the lobby along with popcorn which was different. The rooms are all spotless and welcoming, with soft squidgy carpets, comfy beds, and cookies before bedtime...just can't fault it, and Paul and his team just add a touch of style you don't expect to see in a small town B&B. Location wise the Fundy Geological museum is only a 5-minute walk away, while crossing the bridge check the aviation history. Partridge Island is a short drive away and is a good spot for a picnic, a small walk, and a bit of fossil hunting. I would highly recommend you give The Maple Inn a try, it's a real gem of a find.…
We stayed in the Maple Inn B@B for 3 nights. We really loved this place. Very charming, clean and quiet. The host was super nice, and when we asked him to make a reservation for us in the restaurant because we were coming late to Parrsboro he did it without any hesitation. Also breakfasts are very delicious, especially the home made scones. Everything was served very elegantly and with class.
The B&B is within walking distance of the center of Parrsboro and close to museums and other points of interest. Our hosts were charming and wisely advised us to reserve our place at local restaurants a few days in advance, which probably saved our bacon. The history of the building is well documented and adds to the experience. The breakfast is delicious. We recommend it to everyone without hesitation.
We spent one night at The Maple Inn. The Inn is beautifully maintained, with lovely gardens and a new patio which my husband and I enjoyed (relaxing with a scoop of complementary popcorn and cold beverages we brought from home). The host, Paul, is very friendly and accommodating (and talented: we picked up a flyer for his upcoming Carnegie Hall concert ). Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the lovely dining room, and was delicious. Overall, a most pleasant getaway for us!
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was the perfect place to stay. Loved our room and the whole house. The breakfast was great. We will definately stay there again if we are back in that area.
We were traveling with our 2 grandchildren and stayed at the Maple Inn in July. We stayed at the Maple Inn for 3 nights. We didn’t want to leave! Everything about the Inn is wonderful. Paul, our host was just amazing! When he found out that our grandchildren were vegan, he went out of his way to make special breakfast for them! Those breakfasts were fantastic! Our 8 year old grandson informed us that they were the best breakfasts ever! We will be back!
We had an amazing experience. The breakfasts were exceptional, prepared fresh every morning. The room was immaculate. We enjoyed time sitting on the deck in the evenings. Service and interactions with Paul and MacKenzie were fabulous.
We spent a night at the Maple Inn on our way through Nova Scotia. Paul and Mackenzie are wonderful hosts! The room was clean and tidy, there were lots of amenities available at the Inn, and the hosts were eager to ensure that we had everything we needed, including giving us directions to the nearest electric car charging station (which was free!). Breakfast in the morning was amazing, and made use of locally sourced ingredients. I really admire the dedication Paul and Mackenzie have made to get The Maple Inn to have a reduced carbon footprint, which is really important to my family and I.
It’s rare that a hotel or inn stay is flawless. Everything was top notch. Great room, terrific host (Paul) and delicious gourmet breakfasts made this our favorite inn of all time. We will return - and hopefully stay multiple nights!
