This motel suited our purposes as we were in transit and needed somewhere to stay. The motel is basic and clean and has wifi. The manager friendly and obliging and gave us a kettle for the night which was great. There is a restaurant next door which had really delicious food.

The Hebridean Motel is a good place to stay. The rooms are cozy and clean. Simple decor and simple, clean bathroom, but what more do you need in a place to sleep overnight? The view is perfect. The owner, Charlie, is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about local history as his family has lived in Port Hood for generations. We... More

Nice green space that we pulled our chairs over to and watched sunset go down over the water. Nice new shower. There was no ice but Charlie offered to get us some if we wanted. We had internet. The motel is conveniently located just off highway. Coffee maker fridge and micro.

We were referred to Herbridean because of over booking at a B&B in Inverness. It turned out Port Hood was an idea home base for us to explore the Ceilidh Trail. The motel is a bit dated, and the air conditioning and bathroom vent in our room were very noisy. Fortunately, it was cool enough that we didn't need the... More

Owners were friendly, room was clean and big enough, great location just off highway when you need a place to crash, but not a destination location. Sound travelled a bit from room to room, but no noise from main highway nearby. Nice big green lawn if you need to stretch your legs after a long drive. Nice sunset there too!

We enjoyed the suite for our family of 5. Queen, double, and pull out sofa. Large kitchen and living area. Full size fridge, stove, microwave, pots and pans. Very friendly and helpful staff at check-in. The room was clean, and we did not mind that it is an older building. The pull out sofa was ok for our son, but... More

Great motel with wonderful hosts! Very clean, spacious, outdoor seating area, convenient location walking distance to restaurant with delicious food. Beautiful drive to motel. Hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help out with a lost cell phone.

This motel reminded me of a 1950's style motel. The owner, Charlie, was quite friendly and also helpful when we asked him about restaurants and drive times. Our room was clean, and everything worked. Bathroom had been updated. All in all, fit the bill as a place to stop for the night.
