Great hotel to return to at the end of a day's hiking around beautiful Pond Inlet. Stayed six nights. Clean and comfortable rooms, hot showers and the most delicious meals I have enjoyed abroad in a long time. The staff are only too pleased to help and answer questions about the location. A huge thank you to Rita for everything...

This is really the only place to consistently have meals made for you in Pond Inlet. So if you are up in Pond Inlet for business or pleasure I highly recommend arranging with the Sauniq Hotel to have your meals prepared. It is run by a lovely lady named Rita and she is probably one of the kindest persons you...

The place is all that you need....cozy room.....clean and quiet. The restaurant adjoining the hotel is fantastic. The food is tasty and plenty in a buffet style. Service is great. Stayed two nights - quick trip to experience the area. Comfortable hotel - very clean (shoes off at the front door policy! great idea in Pond Inlet). Very large comfortable room modern amenities, very friendly staff, great food - felt very safe and civilized! Very accommodating when we asked for them to prepare a box lunch for our outing one...

Pond Inlet is such a beautiful place and I couldn't have asked for better accommodations in the remote north. My needs were met: warmth, bed, shower, tv with blackout curtains (a necessity this time of year). There is wifi but I was never able to connect to it. The dinner was so good, prime rib, baked potato with all the...

As others have said, try to get a room in the newer section of the hotel if possible. I had a room in the older section and it was adequate but "rustic" shall we say. Clean enough although small and very dated. Also very thin walls so I found it a bit noisy. My flight arrived near the end of...

For this who venture this far north the Sauniq Hotel has all one could ask for. I had a room in the older section but it was clean, comfortable, up-to-date and everything worked. I stayed here in July when the sun didn't set and the curtains kept the light out so I had no problem sleeping. The food was great...

Not a bad Arctic hotel. Try for getting a room in the new part (attached to the dining room and main lobby area). Other parts of the hotel are older but still clean. Shared bathroom in the older part. Front desk staff very friendly and food was delicious! Shuttle to and from the airport which proved to be very handy.

I was very impressed with the accommodations at Sauniq. I fly into pond inlet frequently, and I always look forward to staying here. Hotel is in newer, pre-fabricated and in excellent shape. Staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Being a pre-fabricated building, the walls are somewhat thin, so keep that in mind,...

A very nice clean facility. Beds are quite comfortable and Queen sized. Food is good and the staff do their best to assist. Try for a room with a view on the water. Avoid the old hotel next door if possible. Note, as normal in Nunavut hamlets bathrooms are shower only. Definitely a recommend.
