The bed sheets were not changed after the last guests. The nail and hairs were found in bed, hair band with hairs was left on coat rack shelf. The chair was dirty and burned by a cigarette. The bath was leaking. Overall state of the facility is terrible. It is old, dirty, and not maintained.

We wanted to save money on our vacation. It wasn't worth it. 0 out of 10! The room had dirt on the walls, Grime, Rust in the leaky sink, Mould along the edge of the bathtun, Cobwebs all over the place, Broken electrical Fixture and wallpaper held in place my thumb tacks. I tried to call the front desk within 10 minutes, but there was no answer. The beds were advertised as queens, but were doubles (I measured them at 52"). The operator tried to talk over us and make excuses about it being a new owner. We asked to speak with owner, so she called his cell. Mr. Patel apologized and said that it would be better the next time we stayed. We felt he should compensate us in some way. He laughed at my fiancee. When she asked if he was laughing at her, he said that he was laughing with her. Neither she nor I found any of this funny. He finally said he'd give us a 10% discount. FTR, We've stayed here many times previously without incident. We cannot in good conscience stay here ever again! :-(

This is a place where my boyfriend and I always go because of cheapness. However in May we went there and I had some red marks on my body and they itch like crazy!!! I had to shower with bleach etc. I called and spoke to the girl at the front and told her that I had bites on my body and they seem to be bed bugs by looking up my symptoms, she said she will have someone e check the room then call me back. I waited for an hour, no call back so I called her back. This time I asked for a manager. Ms Diana. I told her what happened to me and she said the pest control came and found a “carpet pest” on the floor but not on the bed. She then said she cant talk to me as I didn’t rent the room my man did! But excuse mi dear! I said okay and I 3-way my man on the phone and she told him that there was nothing in the room but they found a dead bug outside the room!!! Like seriously!? I went to the doctor and they confirmed bed bugs were the culprits to the bites! Bruh I was livid! They said the manager would call me back and up till tdy I haven’t heard from them. I will never go back there. I’m actually so disappointed in them smh! Don’t go there people!

First off, there are not many places that allow dogs. We have two, a big yellow lab and a shih tuz. When I read the reviews, I was dubious at best about the place but couldn't find another place that accepted dogs, so booked it. There were complaints it was dirty to filthy. Not true! The floors were laminate and clean and the bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed our time there with no issues whatsoever. We were initially concerned about the traffic around the motel, but we heard no traffic at all. Maybe they soundproofed it? Not a clue. But we were happy. There is also a drive through coffee shop right across the street. We walked over and got our breakfast, brought it back to the room and ate it there. It's a hop, skip and a jump from downtown Bowmanville. It could also be used as a homebase for visiting Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax or even Toronto. At $75/night it's a steal!

Friendly service but thats about it. You get what you pay for. This place needs a serious facelift. My room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and had missing light bulb in the bathroom but at least the room was clean...or as clean as he could be. Rate was much less than the local competition. Close to the 401
