The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loves sitting outside by the river. Staff was friendly. The dock was perfect for lounging and having a cocktail after dinner. It's easy to find and centrally located so we could walk anywhere in town. We enjoyed the in room coffee in the morning. And then complimentary bottles of...

I found this inn online when my husband and I were making plans to be traveling through the area. After seeing the pictures, we decided to stay for a weekend rather than just overnight. We booked one of the suites (although all the rooms looked good) and after checking in, all I can say is "Wow! " It was like...

We found this little gem about 8 years ago and have spent time here every summer since. The rooms are always immaculate the host and staff always friendly and the ambiance is above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoy our coffee in the mornings on the deck overlooking The Trent and listening to the birds. Our requests for a teacup of...

Enjoyed a one night stay recently at The Water's Edge Inn while visiting family who lives in Campbellford. Being familiar with the area, this Inn was recommend along with another one in town. We are very happy we made this choice!!. The owner was very welcoming upon our arrival. The room was immaculate and we loved the modern touches -...

While visiting Campbellford, we stayed at "The Waters Edge Inn." What a beautiful place. The owner Keith is very accommodating and friendly. He has taken great pride in the appearance and room details of the Inn. They have special touches like real wine glasses and water glasses cups with hotel picture on them. Personal Keurig coffee maker. Fridge with real...

We quite enjoyed our stay, we only needed to be there one night so had to book last minute as bookings are generally for two nights or more apparently. I wish it wasn't called an 'Inn' though as I associate that with access to meals and we had to eat out. You could manage with the fridge and microwave at...

Had two rooms by the river, Suite 201 and Room 202. This is a perfect place to stay. Right by the water, and all the mod cons you could want.... fridge, microwave, seating area outside and inside, coffee and tea facilities, etc. A very nicely decorated room. Keith is a great host and the entire experience was better than staying...

Went to Campbellford on a whim Saturday morning. Booked into The Water's Edge Inn. This was the second visit to this Inn. From the road it doesn't look like it would be a good place to stay but once you get inside you are pleasantly surprised by a lovely big room, very comfortable beds, nice linens, great array of useful...

On a whim Sat morning, we decided to leave the city (Toronto). Being bikers, I found an event "Chrome on the Canal" in Campbellford, which led us to the most unexpected treat of the Waters Edge Inn. We lucked into a cancellation. Thank you to whoever cancelled, you made our weekend memorable. Our room was on the river - beautiful...

The location was great. It was the perfect short walk to all the restaurants in town for dinner and even to the Tim Horton's for breakfast. Of course the beautiful riverfront setting is the main perk, but we were disappointed that the deckside chairs were very old and rusty and kind of gross. Would have been more enjoyable with newer...
