This is a great location with excellent accommodation and breakfast. Kim was great and very helpful. Close to downtown and near the river. Parking in rear of building was clear of snow. Tim Hortons just short walk away

Although the location of this hotel is great with a lovely view over the river, the place is tired and overpriced for what it is. We stayed in the Coach House - there were 3 of us and when we booked we were told that there was a king size bed in the second floor bedroom and pull out couch in the living room. The bed upstairs was comfortable but the couch pull out was broken and so my son had to put the sofa cushions on the floor and sleep there. It was definitely not a desirable place to sleep.. . In the morning I decided it run a bath because the unit doesnt have a shower. However, there was no hot water . The breakfast was good, my granddaughter enjoyed the hot tub and the owners are very friendly and helpful but there is a lot of "stuff" e.g. pieces of wood and run down vehicles etc. around the place It may look better in the summer but I would not recommend staying there in the fall.

We rented the Coach house for Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend. The lakeview is stunning. We set on the deck and enjoyed the sunset. Set up the fire pit and gazing the stars and enjoyed the family time. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with the light music set up when you walked in. The host and hostess, Bob and Elaine are very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of local tips and attraction points. I highly appreciated that they respect our privacy and letting us to enjoy the amenities: hot tub and steam bath The breakfast is delicious and abundant. We love the place and definitely will find opportunity to go back

We reserved for one night and were quite enchanted with this lovely quaint inn by the canal. We had the 'Cannonball" room which was small mainly because it had a king size bed in it. We also had access to a shared wooden balcony with a hot tub. Bath robes are provided as well as toiletries. Breakfast was great. We downsized our order as there was more than enough on the plates. We would stay again if traveling in this area.

We have spent a weekend here last summer. Loved the location and everything around it. Just so relaxing. The owners were so friendly. The breakfst they offer was delicious. The property is kept clean and beautifully landscaped....we will definitely be going back. We stayed in a detached cottage with two floors, great views of the water and the nature.

Please don't be put off by the lack of reviews. This hidden gem is a perfect place to relax and unwind with stunning views of the Trent. From a riverside decking to watch the sunset to steam showers to hot tubs to stand alone baths in the room and king size beds Windswept has it all. Elaine and Bob are wonderful hosts and we'd highly recommend a visit!

This location is just a wonderful B & B, and is located on the Trent River System in Hastings, Ontario. We stayed there for one night and had the most pleasurable stay that we have ever had.....the pillow top bed was FANTASTIC. The spa out back is wonderful to relax in after a great day on the water or a long drawn out day in a car. VERY highly recommended by the traveller.
