My husband and I just returned from this Inn. We had a great time and would recommend it to others. The Inn itself is a little bit outdated, but very cute. The rooms were a decent size, beds very comfortable, real wood burning fireplaces and the jetted bathtubs were quite large and had many settings to make it quite relaxing....

My wife and I visited the spa for a couples massage and water spa treatment and were impressed by the amazing view and quiet atmosphere. The massage was very good and they were able to do us both in the same room which is nice. As parent we liked the no kid atmosphere and were able to relax for the...

I initially stumbled upon Sir Sam's Inn through an article advertising the dog sledding package and was instantly hooked. My boyfriend and I did some research and liked the look of the rooms and the waterspa and were obsessed with the idea that we could go dog sledding with Siberian huskies during one of our days. We booked our weekend...

The inn is a great place to getaway and relax. We stayed in the main lodge where all rooms were facing the lake and perfect for watching sunset right from your room. The setting is quiet, calm and surreal. They also had a wide range of things to do there including the water spa, games room, bar, restaurant and spa...

Took my wife for her birthday. Great ambiance. Service from Rene was top notch. The food was absolutely superb. Chef Dave is incredible. Beautiful duck dinner, nice wine. After dinner Spanish coffee in the bar. A great evening, my wife was thrilled. Spend the money for the best food in Haliburton County.

We arrived at lunch mid week, we were the only people in the restaurant but greeted with a friendly server and a limited menu of three sandwich options so I wasn't very impressed, with that said, the food was delicious and worthy of the four stars.

It was our first time staying here, decided to upgrade to main lodge, as there are no fireplaces in the Glen Eagle rooms. We asked for a discount and she gave us 10%. We had booked the winter getaway package. Our room was quaint, comfortable bed and lovely view of the lake. The water spa is very enjoyable. My husband...

One of my new favourites in Ontario. This charming inn blew away all of my expectations. From the comfortable guestroom, to the amazing dining experience, nothing was overlooked. Sir Sams has all the amenities of a large resort, but with only 25 rooms you feel as if you have the resort to yourself. We stayed in a Glen Eagles suite....

My wife and I came to ski Sir Sams on a recommendation that the ski hill was wide open and not crowded. My wife hates the little racer kids at Hidden Valley (Huntsville) buzzing around her at high speed and the runs just generally suck there too. The eliteist attitude of the members doesn't help either, so when we arrived...

I picked this hotel to stay at as I had planned a trip to the area to go dog sledding for my wife's birthday at winterdance (which I'd highly recommend checking out), and it was the nicest looking one in the area. I wish I'd known more about the extra stuff they offered, and that we'd had more time to...
