Great relaxed atmosphere. The minute you walk in your greeted at the front desk, you fill out a few forms, then get a bag you get to keep and a robe. If you haven't been there they offer a small tour. You are given wrist bands to lock your locker. In the locker room you have showers, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Upstairs you have an outside hot tub, cold plunge pool and small lap pool which you can even use in the winter. They have a room with massage chairs that are set for 20 minute intervals. Each chair faces a window so you have a relaxing calm view. They have quiet rooms set up for you to read and wait for your spa services along with the tea of the day and some lemon lime water. Staff will come get you to your appointment and when down bring you back. I stay over night so you get tea (snacks and yummy homemade treats), dinner breakfast and lunch.Meals are made with ingredients they grow locally and if you want seconds no problem. You can also bring your own wine to lunch or dinner and they will set it up in a bucket of ice for you. They have shuttle service to take you from the main spa to your room or to the gym. The gym has fitness equipment hit tub, sauna and a treadmill in the pool. We stayed in the Sentosa and had east, west and Central rooms booked as there were 8 of us. Each room had its own bathroom, fireplace and sitting area with a walk out balcony. Downstairs a full kitchen livingroom, dining room, bathroom and walk out to a hot tub. You can also sign up for yoga, stretch, mediation and outdoor hikes. I have to say no need to do both yoga and stretch as they are basically the same class. Also some instructors are more friendlier then others. For my spa treatments I had Allen D for my deep massage. Very good and friendly and my firming mud mask I had Breanna N who was also amazing. Irina at dinner was exceptional as our waitress. Again some staff in dining area are friendlier then others. Only complaint is the service in the diningroom is very slow so make sure you have at least an hour and 30.mins before your next treatment. Also check your schedules to make sure you have at least 15 mins to get to your treatment. Our friend had her spa treatment scheduled to start and the same time stretch class was ending so she had to leave 15 mins before class ended. All and all very positive experience and it was a relaxing way to spend with friends. Highly recommend.

This is a premium Spa with an Oasis. When you first enter it can be a little confusing with the parking lot greeting you. However if you go left the registration hut is right there and they answer all your questions. Check in and orientation took about 15 mins and we were off. Our room wasn't ready until 4 pm but St. Anne's allowed us to use the facilities when we arrived at 1 pm we even did a hiking class.

The room was a blast from the past that offered that 1855's vintage cottage feel but also did not feel dated. The room was also filled with soaps shampoos, conditioners, and body lotion that was all made in house that neutragena can't touch.

The food was probably my favorite part because the portions sizes were great and the food tasted amazing.

I would suggest bring a small backpack to lug around personal items even though St Anne's provides an eco friendly bag.

The only thing I can knick is the price as it is expensive. However this is a Premium Experience so it's going to cost you a premium price.

I would still Highly recommend this place to friends and family and will continue to come here for years to come.

This place is incredible. The grounds are breath taking, they even have a barn with horses and barn cats you can pet (if the animals like you) ;) The staff are so friendly and happy, they put you right at ease. The food is 5 star, fresh ingredients, lovely portions, well thought out menus and knowledgeable servers. The cottage we stayed at was Casa del Sol, could have easily housed 10 people, and was beautiful. Warm, clean, modernly decorated, big bathrooms, huge wrap around porch and hottub (that, early morning when it snowed, someone came by and shoveled a path to!) The service you receive here is nothing short of amazing. I'm not even going to get into all the amenities available because this review would be 5 pages long, so I will edit; the hydro pools are extremely relaxing and aesthetic wise a must experience, their soaps and lotions give me life, their massage chairs live rent free in my mind. Thank you to the staff, I will be seeing you every season :)

Stayed at the Ste Anne's spa in late December with my sister and my mom. Accommodations were excellent! We stayed at the former Doll House Cottage, now the Martha Robinson and it was lovely both the main level and the cellar apartment were beautifully renovated and the rooms were the best part of the trip.

One piece of advice for the spa, while we were there, there was some freezing rain that made everything icy. The short walk from the cottage to the inn was an adventure to say the least. My sister had to assist my mom and hold her up to get from the cottage over the incredibly slick flagstone on the walking path. It is really dangerous when icy, you may want to consider something better gripping than the chicken feed you use as a deicer (we did help our self and used in on the stair, and the walkway) You may want to consider gravel over the stones in the winter or someone is going to have a nasty fall.

I was disappointed that the new hydro therapy area is still under construction (seriously who is doing your construction it feels like it has been under construction for years). Very sad to see the new hot tubs and pools on and bubbling away but still not ready for use.

It felt like the spa was way over booked between guests staying over and day spa guests. The grotto area was always full and hard to find a time I could actually use the hot tub. When there was space it seemed like there were a lot of large groups visiting and there were not demonstrating good spa etiquette. It was loud, crowded and made service very slow in the dining room (our final lunch took almost 90 mins, they were setting up for tea as we were leaving) Groups of people I encountered were yelling in the eucalyptus steam room, another group was loudly talking and taking selfies in the grotto area. I never found a free chair in the massage chair room. I do understand part of the issue may of been the inclement weather that forced everyone inside, but there was clearly not enough amenities per guest.

I am not sure I will venture back to Ste. Anne's in any season other than Summer at least then the outdoor seating, hammocks and pool can accommodate all the guest and there are quiet placings to relax. As much as I loved sitting in front of the fireplace in the cottage the large crowds in the inn is a deterrent.

The food and treatments were good.

Dear Sharonbee3, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am sorry that our new pools were not open for you when you were here. While we do limit the number of guests we see each day to ensure everyone can use the facilities at their leisure. decidedly bad weather days can mean more people inside which can feel a little more busy. Our new pools are open now and our guests are finding they can enjoy all elements of the spa experience here without delay. Hopefully we will see you again this year so you can enjoy them!

Have you ever been to a 5 star hotel where the customer service is so impeccable you feel like royalty? Ste Anne's spa has none of that. Instead, it feels like a zoo, starting from when you arrive for check-in. The lobby area is crowded and chaotic instead of serene and relaxing. They give you a tour of the facility, which feels small and cramped and feels like you are cattle being herded. Everything is under renovation and their eucalyptus steam room doesn't even have any steam (I think it is need of repairs). I felt my massage was meh (certainly not what I would expect from a high end spa). There were some positives about my stay. The room I was in was very nice with a fireplace, fully featured shower and a bathtub you can really sink into. The food was excellent as well. The water baths were relaxing and as expected. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but also not a spectacular experience.

Dear Lely C, Thank you for taking the time to review your visit. I'm sorry to hear that your stay with us fell short of your expectations. You observe that the lobby area is crowded and chaotic instead of serence and relaxing. Although we make every effort to stagger arrivals there are certainly times of the day when we have a crush of guests arriving at the same time as guests are leaving. It sounds like the tour that we gave you really wasn't up to par either. You also point out that there are areas of the property that are under renovation - quite right, we are always improving and upgrading. In fact, we are just in the final stages of adding six new thermal pools, a new outdoor sauna, a new garden courtyard and much more. Since your review was posted, Ste. Anne's has been closed for almost 2 months in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. We plan to re-open on June 5th. During the time that we were closed we have undertaken many changes and renovations that I think you will find address all of the concerns that you expressed in your review. I would be more than happy to have you return as my guest after we re-open and I'm quite confident that I could meet your 5 star/royalty expectations. Alternatively, I would be happy to refund you the cost of your stay, or at the very least the cost of your massage. I hope you will reconsider your assessment of Ste. Anne's and that you'll contact me soon to arrange a resolution that would best suit you.

I stayed for one night and I cannot say enough good things about Ste. Anne's Spa. They take care of everything for you. You do not have to do a thing but relax. The staff is amazing and are always willing to assist you with anything you may want. The meals are delicious and everything is organic. You can tell they spend a lot of time making sure even the smallest details are perfect. The staff who performed the spa treatments were very professional. I had the skin nourishment and aroma massage and I loved both of them. I have already begun planning my next visit!

From the beginning to the the end my wife and I had a great time, staff , food and surroundings in and out are amazing. The attention to detail on the property is superb.
The food was delicious and the presentation of the food great great great.
We have nothing but positive feedback and highly recommend.
We stayed for the 1 night 2 day package for couple in the October feature, it was pricey but when all that is included from the food, accommodation, service and atmosphere it is worth every dollar and more.

We stayed here during the thanksgiving long weekend. We really enjoyed the hydrotherapy pools and food (much of it is directly from the nearby farm so very fresh!). We also visited the farm and did grooming time, which was very fun. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We did the eucalyptus wrap, milk sesame stone massage, hot stones massage and regular full body massage. Definitely recommend the milk sesame and hot stones treatments. The only wrinkle was cleanliness of the room.. we stayed in the Finch room in the Birdsong cottage near the main inn. Maybe it was a one off but room was not very clean, and when it was "cleaned" during the day, it was poorly done. For example, whoever made up our room simply folded up our dirty towels on the floor (our signal for needing new wash towels) and put it back on the rack as if they were clean. Wasnt really impressed with that.

I went with my best friend for an overnight stay. The zen starts the moment you put your bathrobe on. We loved the hydro pools, hammocks, saunas, eucalyptus steam room, and bath-temperature pool. I had an Aroma Stone Massage by Sydnie, which was incredible! My favourite was a mud facial by Nasia - I could tell she really cared to make my experience excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was a perfect 5 min walk from the Main Inn. The room was spectacular with french doors opening up to a private balcony with 4 Muskoka chairs. The food was 5 stars - expect to leave stuffed! I had the cod for dinner, which was delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and express how they are there to make sure you have the best stay.If you need a weekend to get away from reality then this is the place. Expensive but worth every penny!!!

I went to St. Anne's Spa to celebrate my daughters' birthdays. It was 3 of us and we stayed at the loft....the best cottage I believe they have. It's a bit off property but I liked it. I was a bit busy in the pools so if you like a quiet moment, maybe not. We didn't go in till 10pm when it will just be us and although it was freezing, the varying degree of the different water pools was fun.
The food is exquisite! We got room service for dinner and I was really impressed on how it was packaged. Loved it! The people are really nice and its a warm welcome no doubt. A lot of the daytime events like yoga and bootcamp were fully booked. I wish they had told us the things we could do on the property when we booked months earlier.
We had a massage and a facial. The massage was okay....for someone who gets a massage done weekly, I left my massage thinking I needed to get another one done when I got back home. My daughters said the same thing. The facial was very much below standard. There was no question about what kind of skin we had, no checking out our skin under the lights, nothing. In the facial appointment, there was a foot massage, a head massage and a supposed arm massage. That's when I got suspicious. A facial should be a facial period. I've been to the pillar and post in Niagara and immediately after the facial at St. Anne's spa, I booked a visit to Niagara.
I appreciate that the owner called the day after to ask about our experience. In my opinion, it's a place to go to check it out but I will not really go again.

The times I have been, I just wear my bathing suit as I spend most of the time in the steam room or therapeutic pools (when not in a treatment session). If spending the night, I would definitely opt for loungewear or yoga pants and light top under the robe. You may want outdoor wear if you choose to go for a walk on the property trails.
