The food is excellent the rooms are comfortable . Close enough to the highway if you want to take a day trip to the city and only minutes away from Canada's Wonderland . Quiet nights and great sunsets and sunrises

A beautiful oasis, outside the city of Toronto. Only 20 minutes north but you feel like you are hours away. Large rooms, great service and an amazing buffet meal overlooking the countryside and outdoor pool. A terrific gym and facilities. Nothing negative to say.
I'd stay there again in a heart beat. No children running around so it is not great for families unless they like their privacy because you have your kids with you all the time. Bonus: only 10 minutes north of Canada's Wonderland so the hotel is perfect if you are planning a few days at the park.

Kingbridge is 20 min from Airport; 40 min from Downtown. Since I didn't rent a car, I used Uber and it worked out very well. This place is so incredibly 'Zen' from the moment you stepped into the Front Desk check-in. Love the decorations - simple yet sophisticated. I love my comfortable queen size bed and the room is spacious all around. The property is filled with green and nature, an outdoor swimming pool, two large ponds with fountains, a giant size Labyrinth and 'into the woods' rails viz. Path of Renewal, Themindful Forest, The Inner Passage, Waters of Integrity, Field of Possibilities and Whispering Grove. These trails are wonderful hikes but be warn: Wear LOTS AND LOTS OF MOSQUITOES REPELLANT or you'll be eaten away) Don't let this discourage you (pure citronella oil is a great repellant). You could ride a bicycle through the trails too. Every evening, there are fire place outside of the restaurants. There are game rooms and SPA centers. Shuttles are provided from the hotels to the parking lots. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. It's really a nice place for personal relaxation as well as Weddings/Corporate Retreat/Team Building/Annual Event including Dinner & Dance.

Response from Kingbridge, Guest Relations Manager at Kingbridge Conference Centre & Hotel
Responded Sep 17, 2019
Dear Winnie C, It sounds like you really enjoyed your recent visit to Kingbridge! We are so glad you were here and that you (clearly) made full use of the facilities / grounds that were available to you - that's what they are there for. We are always to thrilled to hear from guests who have been able to use the space to it's full potential and take in the surroundings that our team work hard to preserve. Good tips to your fellow travelers too - Canadian (Ontario) summers are sure to bring out mosquitoes. We also have repellent at the Front Desk for anyone who forgets theirs! We hope you'll be back again, perhaps in the winter where you can experience a true winter wonderland. Thank you for the review and for your stay!

Some Basic & I believe Fair Questions for the General Manager to review and answer in their response:

Pubic Hair?
Is it acceptable for a marketed as a full service hotel to check in and have to put up with someone else’s pubic hair in the bathroom?

Why only 2 hangars in the closet?
Never in 30 years of business travel have I checked in to find only 2 clothes hangars. . . . why? Your future guests would love to know

No Bellstaff?
http://www.kingbridgecentre.com/#home
says . . . Kingbridge is a unique residential Conference Centre and full-service hospitality venue. How can you truly be . . . . full service . . . if not offering dedicated bellstaff?
Your marketing proudly states ‘ full service’ hotel yet you have no bellstaff? What do older people do? I asked your FD agent and she shared you have no bell staff, just carts in the lobby to use and then you must return.

Televisions!?
Every other ‘full service’ accommodation provider in North America has moved on to flat screen TV’s . . . why are yours small, square and from the 1990’s? Most guests even when conferencing like to watch a little TV before going to sleep or get caught up on the news. Why so behind the times if purporting ‘full service’ experience?

Fridges?
None! Even lower end hotels offer small fridges, why not here if purporting ‘full service’?

Observations
- Older style retreat style conference center in good shape
- Great location just North of the madness of Toronto
- Confused architectural style considered hip 30 + years ago
- Minimal staff because of minimal occupancy
- Parking a long walk down from the hotel
- Incredibly small hotel lobby foye check in area

I have been to the Kingbridge Centre before and loved it and this trip was no exception! I attended a conference for 2 days with a 2 night stay. The atmosphere in the hotel and conference centre is so peaceful. My hotel room faced a wooded area and walking trails. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The pool and hot tub were nice to visit each evening after dinner- the pool was quite cold but the hot tub was lovely. Breakfast in the restaurant each day was delicious and there were so many choices! The conference facilities are very nice and it is very inspiring to have a view of trees in each of the conference rooms. The snack breaks are a nice treat, and everything is very fresh. Staff are very friendly. There is a shuttle service from the parking lot to the doors of the hotel. It is wise to take it if you have any mobility issues as the walk up the hill to the hotel can be very challenging if you have any physical limitations. I hope to be back in the future!

Lumpy beds. Staff not genuine. Could smell cigarette smoke in room 230. Coffee pot in room...horrid. Rooms dated, old televisions. Would not use again. The grounds are lovely, it is a pity there is no golfing activity. The meals and general food was good. I think if they updatee. The rooms and got new mattresses they would receive a better rating.

Attended a conference here in June 2015 - the conference was fabulous and the overall amenities were wonderful. I wish there had been time to explore the grounds but we had a jam-packed agenda. The food was fabulous, particularly the adobo flank steak as mentioned in another review, and the lamb sirloin (only my 2nd time with lamb). Servers were wonderful and attentive and very friendly.

Unfortunately the rating takes a hit because of my room - the bed was like plywood, and the pillows were too soft for my preferences. Housekeeping informed me that there was only one type of pillow available when I phoned to request firmer ones. There were also significant issues with the water pressure in the shower, as there was only a trickle when someone else nearby was obviously also using their washroom.

I went to Kingbridge which I will refer as KB with my co-worker for a conference. It’s a beautiful secluded resort with amenities that are five star all around. When you arrive you either go park to the front desk area to drop off your luggage or go directly to guest parking. At guest parking you take your luggage with you and go buzz a button in a waiting area and they will send a minivan to get you. The driver came right away and was very pleasant. Upon arrival at the resort we were greeted by the amazing Vanessa. This lady went over and beyond to make our stay here the best for the few days we were there. Any questions were answered, our luggage was checked (our room wasn’t ready, we arrived very early) and off we went to enjoy!
This place is huge. Come prepared with running shoes and active wear because there’s beautiful trails, biking, jogging tracks, fitness center with up to date equipment, a pool, sauna, steam room...
We went to the buffet restaurant (no menues here except for in room dining). Let me tell you this buffet was also 5 star! Many thanks to the chefs, sous-chefs and staff for such an amazing dining experience. They have a hot food station, salad station, cheese and bread cracker station, soups... dessert station, it’s all there and it tastes amazing! I have never seen a buffet to such a high caliber ever! Bravo!!
The staff here also went out of their way to make your dining experience with them a pleasant one.
To name a few Bozena, Josh and the blond lady with short hair (sorry I didn’t write down your name).
They also have a pub next to the buffet with great beer and drink selections. There’s a self serve popcorn machine and they put out nuts for free. Here all the staff was also very friendly (Collette).
There’s a wonderful library with plush big leather chairs, with floor to ceiling windows that you can pick a book from their collection and just relax and read. Like I said this place is huge! I did get help from Michele at the business area for directions. A very pleasant young lady!
The pool area is stunning with towels available. The jacuzzi is situated right next to it. The ladies change room had a blow dryer, lockers with locks attached that you can use, sauna area, showers, bathroom and steam room! Maintenance was always checking the water and the concierge kept it very clean.
The trails are amazing! An extra added touch in their restrooms were free feminine products.
They have mountain bikes with helmets you can use at your whim anytime for the trails, or you can take a leisurely walk through them if you’d like instead. Thanks Richard for taking the bikes out on a cloudy day for me! There’s a meditation area next to a river with beautiful sayings.
This is a beautiful resort for not only conferences but for a couples weekend away.
Our room faced the fountain. The beds are comfortable, the bath robes plush, the bathroom is huge with a hairdryer, earth friendly shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. It’s a tub/shower combo.
You can request a fridge in your room if you’d like. Vanessa took care of that for us since she saw we had a little cooler.
The resort features beautiful artwork and the live plants and fountain make it spectacular! Would I go back here again you ask? In a heartbeat is my answer!! Truly a hidden gem in a busy Toronto area.
Thanks again to ALL the amazing staff!

Rooms aren’t anything special- think 1990’s. Basic and very little sound proofing. Facilities are nice. Pretty area and grounds. Chairs are excellent in conference centre which is a nice change.
Food is amazing. Lots to choose from and way too much.
Kind of in the middle of nowhere.

I just returned from a 3 day event at the Kingsbridge Centre and it was spectacular. When I was first typed it in in Google Maps I couldn't believe the location.... King City, just north of Wonderland... I had very limited expectations. However this centre is nestled in a forest with ponds, it has extensive walking and biking areas, the pools are beyond compare, there is an almost if not full size pool 25m outdoors) and an indoor pool and hot tub. The conference rooms are well equipped with all rolling adjustable ergonomic chairs and every form of connectivity you need. Open WiFi was a nice change and very fast. The common areas are finished a large rooms you may find in a home (very expensive home :)... with comfortable leather arm chairs and their is a billiard room as well. The patio has several comfortable umbrella covered tables with individual chairs, beautiful for the summer weather.

The rooms are large and spacious, I was sharing in a room with two queen size beds and the bathroom was very large with a long counter and two sinks, far more space than you typically need in a hotel room. Everything was new and clean. The mattresses were firm but comfortable and the 4 pillows per bed were comfortable.

The food here was nothing less than spectacular. Every aspect of the food provided from taste, freshness, variety and presentation was so far above my expectations. The fish and the vegetarian dishes were so much better that almost everywhere I have stayed in the past.

Beyond these excellent qualities I believe the best part of the Kingsbridge are the people. Every singe person I dealt with from the receptionist at the check-in counter, the waiters, chefs, management and even the shuttle driver we not just friendly be professional and efficient.

Incredible location (have to see it to believe it), excellent facilities, spectacular food and service second to none... how is it that I didn't know about this place. If you are planning an event you can't go wrong booking here.

Are all the chairs in the meeting room office style chairs? Are there any armless ones?
Answer from Emilia S

Hi kelly j, Thank you for the question! All of our meeting room chairs are ergonomic office chairs that do have arms, however if there is a guest who requires an arm-less chair, we do have a minimal supply that we can provide upon request.
