We stayed just one night at The Old Farmhouse B&B en route the next day for a couple of nights on Pelee Island (and highly recommend The Gathering B&B there - see our review for it too!). We arrived at the Farmhouse after a long and somewhat difficult day of travel in our one-week explore of parts of southwestern Ontario.... More

We are three couples in our early 70's, still with our husbands , childhood friends , went to highschool together etc. This year we stayed at The Farmhouse B & B in Kingsville. A very special place indeed. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by John , he was busy selling apples from his "office" !!! Barb came along to... More

My friend and I from Niagara were visiting wineries in the area and needed a place to stay. We were lucky that there was an opening at The Old Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. If you're looking for a place that is charming, quiet, has comfortable beds, where a delicious breakfast is served every morning and where the proprietors are friendly... More

The hosts were wonderful, so friendly. The house charming, full of history lovingly restored, and spic and span clean. We stayed in the 2 bedrooms upstairs and enjoyed having our own sitting area. When we returned from the wedding we attending, my sister and I helped ourselves to a cuppa tea with the kettle available in the kitchen -- being... More

Thanks to a timely cancellation, we were able to spend a night at this B&B. It is a beautiful restored farmhouse. The front porch is so inviting - we enjoyed a glass of wine there in the evening. The rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Be sure to take a walk through the orchard to the lake and enjoy... More

If you are going to tour the wineries of the Erie North Shore, jaunt through Leamington, Essex, or Pelee Island, or just planning a visit to Windsor, you MUST stay at the Old Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast in Kingsville. My husband and I just recently stayed at The Old Farmhouse and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our breakfasts were amazing! There was so much to eat that I was having trouble keeping up. Homemade scones, homemade muffins and jam and farm fresh fruit not to mention a wonderful quiche etc. The house was immaculate. Our hosts were very accommodating, delightful... More

Though this is a restored 19th century house, there is no shortage of 21st century amenities (TV, wi-fi). Clean, spacious, nicely furnished rooms, good-quality towels and sheets, and a hearty local-food-based farm breakfast. Walk through the orchard for a breathtaking view of Lake Erie.

We spent two nights here while checking out the area & wineries. The B & B is located a short drive into downtown Kingsville where there are a couple restaurant options. Anywhere from 5 - 25 minutes to a winery. The breakfasts were tasty & filling in the morning; I appreciated their unpretentious presentation, which is what you usually have... More
