I've been to The Grove several times and love it more with each stay. The rooms are clean and have character. This time, one of the staff members, Hayley, helped make the trip exceptional. It all started with some innocent questions and turned into a tour of the newer Grove Motel, great local advice and answers to all of our weird questions. We can't wait to come back and try the Motel next time.

what a great stay! From the moment I called to book a reservation, it was evident this was not just your regular hotel. The person who answered the phone did everything they could to get me exactly what I wanted. Prior to arriving the Cool Kids (aka "staff") sent multiple communications regarding fun things to do in the area and what to expect when arriving. We asked the person at the front desk if we could rent the e-bikes and they happily arranged everything for us via text while we were out enjoying the day. The room was beautiful, clean and they even have blankets you can borrow for the balcony and a box full of board games. I was treated to the birthday special with "Happy Birthday' balloons and local gourmet cupcakes and local 'secco'. It was a great experience, highly recommend.…

The loft room for 4 girls was fantastic! Lots of space and very unique. Space to play games. This room had a full size fridge. Also had our own door outside so didn’t need to go through the hotel. Joe’s coffee shop attached to the hotel was great. Right in the middle of town so walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

The people at the grove are so friendly. The stay was amazing. Best mattress and pillows ever. The designs of the rooms have so much attention to detail, you have to check this place out. Great spot !

First time staying here and it was great. Lots of beer pubs, wineries, restaurants with casual or fine dining, Point Pelee national parks for hiking and biking….it’s got it all. We are three couples who have been going away for our “dirty weekend” for over forty years (don’t know why we started calling it that as all we do is drink, explore, eat and play board games at night) 😁 Every year we choose a different location and if we really like it we will come back. This hotel is on our top 5 list as it had everything we wanted. There’s a great coffee shop next door if you want a light breakfast before you go out. The rooms are all themed and most importantly, the beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and fresh and….the shower and toilets worked! We had a minor issue with our shower as the floor was extremely slippery when wet…not good for us old folks. I told the cleaning staff and when we got back to the inn that afternoon they had a rubber shower mat which solved the problem. All in all a great getaway and great memories. We really liked the way they communicated with us in their emails (ya have to book a room to see what I mean🙂) Thanks to the “Cool Kids” for everything, Peace out! Rick & Virginia B. …

My wife and I dropped in for a short mid-week stay and booked into the Glam Suite on the top floor. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a great balcony overlooking the Main Street. The hotel itself has a really cool vibe and is central to lots of restaurants and attractions. We will definitely return to the Grove to hang out with the cool kids again!

I am way overdue in posting this review...bit my enthusiasm for this spot has not lessened at all!! 4 of us visited the first week of September for two nights. The Grove Motel thinks of things you didn't even know you would like or need. The rooms we had were spotless and perfectly equipped (and fun!). We booked our friends that were here from the UK in the Great White North room and they were thrilled- especially with the canoe! No request was too big or too difficult to accommodate- our arrival time was delayed and the check-in staff promised to be there when we arrived and assured us there was no worry at all. The cards for complimentary coffees were brilliant and much appreciated. We all found something delicious for breakfast at joe! We loved the easy-going vibe, the casual (but totally professional and thoughtful!) atmosphere. We walked to the Colchester beach for sunset, we strolled down the road to the Colchester Biker Bar and had an amazing night! We met some fun folks and a few characters and we were made welcome and had a blast! The location of the motel was perfect for visits to local wineries for tastings and food- nothing more than 15-20 minutes in either direction. We did a visit to the John R. Park Homestead (5 mins drive) and had a great tour (a bit of history to add to the winery tours). We slept well, we felt welcome and at home and we are telling everyone who will listen, just how amazing the Grove Motel is and how very glad we are that we stayed there! Communication from the hotel through emails was great. When we arrived our rooms were ready, funky, newly furbished and very clean. It was centrally located with lots of great restaurants in the vicinity. We had a great weekend.

A group of us stayed at this wonderful, funky and adorable hotel and I can't stop talking about it! I find that I keep remembering the little things along with the major of course...that made our stay so wonderful! All our rooms were different themes which were adorable, the vibe in our room was a bit more elegant which I LOVED! A little Ralph Lauren type of vibe, right up our alley! ;)) The other rooms were all very cool and so interesting! Our free coffee at Joe's next door was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated! We sat on our balcony with wine in the evening and coffee in morning and watched the sleepy little town of Kingsville wake up with us. Kingsville in my opinion is one of the most beautiful little towns in Ontario!! The AMAZING restaurants are all walkable from the hotel! We loved The Thompson Manor and Elite...both have over the top food and drinks! If you're thinking of staying in Kingsville...don't hesitate to book The Grove!!! The day we checked out, we stopped into The Butcher of Kingsville....which we loved too!! Beautiful cheeses...the freezer loaded with delicious offerings also. We left with beautiful porterhouse steaks to accompany a bottle of wine that we picked up from one of the nearby wineries, just amazing! So, thank you to The Cool Kids of The Grove.....We'll definitely be coming back!…
