The Grove Hotel has transformed one of Kingsville's historic landmarks into its most deserving self - an intimate downtown boutique hotel worthy of the history that it holds with a fresh, new energy and style. Built in 1854 during the Prohibition Era, there is so much history here that we just can't ignore...and we can't wait to show you what else we have planned!

what a great stay! From the moment I called to book a reservation, it was evident this was not just your regular hotel. The person who answered the phone did everything they could to get me exactly what I wanted. Prior to arriving the Cool Kids (aka "staff") sent multiple communications regarding fun things to do in the area and what to expect when arriving. We asked the person at the front desk if we could rent the e-bikes and they happily arranged everything for us via text while we were out enjoying the day. The room was beautiful, clean and they even have blankets you can borrow for the balcony and a box full of board games. I was treated to the birthday special with "Happy Birthday' balloons and local gourmet cupcakes and local 'secco'. It was a great experience, highly recommend.

Just stayed at The Grove this past weekend. We had room 4 which is on the main floor & has it’s own private balcony inside the Brewery. Our room and service while there was amazing. Our room had a couch & coffee table with an additional bar table, two bar chairs & refrigerator with wine, beer & sodas you can purchase. Bathroom has a very spacious beautiful walk in shower with no lip so it is wheelchair accessible if someone requires that. Staff are very helpful and so nice. We will definitely be back & recommend you others 💞

I was so impressed with this hotel. Everything was done to make my stay special. The room was very nice and I appreciated the description of the noise level of the rooms. It made it easy to decide on the room.
Love the little messages around the room (good sense of humour) I appreciated the steps taken for cleaning and keeping guests safe, even though there was not any housekeeping coming in daily( due to COVID) they made sure if you needed anything it was taken care of.

I am from the area and had driven by the Grove Hotel several times but never really thought of staying in a hotel so close to home. Due to my profession I was recently given the chance to stay here due to the owners giving the rooms out at no charge to first responders to help keep our families safe. I was greeted by Jennifer at the front desk who told me that she is trying to work more from home right now but she is only a text away along with a rundown of the hotel. The room was very big and bright with high ceilings, two big windows and two beds (which I used both) and a very nice bathroom. I wondered down to the lobby one night and was greeted with a cozy place to sit decorated with some neat art and pics of some of the notable people that have stopped in. I know I missed out on all that this hotel and it's owners have to offer due to the distancing. I certainly missed my family, my own bed and the comfort of home while staying here but I was also a little moving out of my 'home'. Thank you again for letting me stay at your hotel

We decided to have a Staycation weekend 45min from home and so glad we did. Beautiful scenic Kingsville is a thriving and entertaining town with tons of amazing restaurants and pubs serving local beers and wines. The beautifully restored Grove Hotel is a friendly and amazing place to lay your head. Jennifer and her staff are warm and attentive and were quick to respond to any need or question we had. The rooms are whimsical, well thought out and the attention to detail is bar none. We stayed in the Canada themed room and even the artsy moose head on the wall was wearing a face mask. The bed was super comfy with luxurious linens and the bathroom included all amenities. Our room had a fridge with local beers and wine and a little alcove for storing and hanging clothes. We enjoyed listening to the live music and people watching during Saturday’s street festival, sitting in the rockers on The Grove’s front porch while sipping the delicious complimentary coffee that’s available all day in their lounge area. Conveniently located on Main St., we enjoyed 3 restaurants, El Diablo, the rooftop patio at Elite and twice at Jim’s for breakfast, all mere steps from the hotel. There is an abundance of fun activities like golfing, biking, sampling the many wineries and craft beer warehouses and several other destinations to keep you busy and all within 30 minutes from downtown. We rented ebikes from The Grove and rode to the tip of Point Pelee, along beautiful trails in the park, stopped for a patio lunch at Freddie’s and purchased locally grown peaches, tomatoes and cucumbers at a couple of road side stands on our way back to the hotel. We beached at Wheatley Provincial Park and golfed at Leamington’s Erie Shores and the Kingsville Country Club. It’s truly an affordable destination and we’re so happy we reacquainted ourselves with all the wonderful things the county has to offer.

We love the Grove Hotel! The decor is eclectic and funky. The beds and linens are soft and comfy. The bathroom is spotless, and they provide special dark facecloths for makeup removal and sanitizer spray that could be used during our stay. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, making suggestions for places to visit or restaurants to try. The coffee bar and snacks in the front lobby/living room was very nice to have access to.
Kingsville itself is a lovely, with great food (like at Jack's GastroPub), bakeries (like Miller's Bakery), coffee shops (like the Red Lantern), and of course with wineries very nearby. A great place to visit and we will be back for sure!

We just returned from a great stay at the Grove Hotel. We stayed in room 6. We had everything we needed (and then some). The website gives the room 3/5 for potential noise and I'd say that's correct, for a Saturday night, we could hear some noise from the brewery and the steet but nothing disrupting and we had no problem sleeping. The beds are comfy, the glass bottle of drinking water is a nice touch and the ability to purchase beers from your fridge is handy as well. Lots of things to do within short walking distance, we checked out all three breweries and loved each one. We had drinks and apps at Grove Brew which was a great time, excellent beer and food. Reception was lovely and after checking out they found my headphones in the room and were kind enough to text to let me know. We hadn't left town yet and were able to swing by and pick them up. I appreciated how quickly they found them and notified me, something you generally don't get from a large hotel chain. Overall a fantastic experience and we will be back!

We are very happy to hear that your stay was everything that you expected (and maybe more). Items left in the rooms is a very common occurrence and therefore it is our goal to always check the rooms as soon as we can in the hopes, if needed, we can catch our guests before they leave town. Thank you very much taking the time to review your stay and we can't wait to have you back!

We just completed our third visit to The Grove Hotel since October 2020. Needless to say, we fell in love with this unique hotel on our very first visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They consistently go out of their way to ensure your stay is a memorable and satisfying one. The rooms are spotless and each one has it's own unique style and decor. We definitely feel that The Grove Hotel is our "home away from home" and look forward to many more visits.

Nothing could be a bigger compliment than to be referred to as a "home away from home". Although we are small, we make every effort to STAND OUT - and the best way for us to do that, is to provide exceptional service in a clean and safe atmosphere. We are so happy to hear that you recognize our efforts. Thank you for your ongoing visits and taking the time to provide such a wonderful review. We appreciate it wholeheartedly and can't wait to welcome you back!

The Grove staff are exceptional. They were accommodating, friendly, helpful and hard working. Our room was clean, luxurious and comfortable. The a/c worked beautifully and kept us very comfortable on a hot stretch of three days in the upper nineties. The in room fridge kept our drinks chilled and drinks were in there in case we’d forgotten to stop by the wonderful county wineries. The Grove Brew House went above and beyond delivering to our room in two courses—salads then a separate delivery of the entrees. This was helpful during pandemic lockdown as it was nearly impossible to get a table on the sidewalk which is also a good sign. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. The best part was our lovely balcony over the Main Street of kingsville. It is big, covered and comfortable and you are not on top of your neighbours at all. This was a great three day getaway. Only disappointing part of the trip is that EVERYTHING in Kingsville closes on Monday. So shopping was frustrating. But Nomad was a lovely place to pick up authentic and artistic home goods that are Earth friendly and that store was open. Cindys was also a lovely place to visit and was open. The Grove did an excellent job of hosting us and we would stay there again. Could not get wifi on the balcony, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, right?

Thank you for the amazing review! You hit all the points and gave a fair and honest review, which we appreciate very much. Being a small town, and with some business struggling to find workers, the hours vary more than usual - we are however hopeful that things will return to where they once were in the very near future. Thanks again and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

We have two wine glasses and two stemless glasses, (for water or wine) available for our guests to use. Thanks for asking
Thank you very much for clarifying.
We love kids and they are ALWAYS welcome! We would suggest at minimum a King Standard (where you could share a bed) or we also have a King Deluxe with a pullout sofa or a room with two double beds.
What a great idea! We love Farm Dog Cycles. They are right in the heart of the wineries so this is a really great option. We'd love to hear how you enjoy it.
We love pets! But unfortunately we are unable to accommodate them at The Grove Hotel.
